Re: Oil add 1.5l

Just add 1l first either hot or cold. Allow engine to warm up approx 2 mins for the guage to show new level. Check the reading and add a little more if need be. Recheck after after few hours once oil has setled. Probably need to do the warm up again with these silly digital dipsticks

Re: Persistent Creaking Noise in 2023 RS6 - Seeking Advice!

Sound like you have dry joint on a bush ie arb, top mount etc. Video shows you are having some good weather so check if you hear the same noise after some rain and the under body has gotten a good soaking. If so i would then try to begin lubricating the joint or bush to ellimnate and pinpoint the no...

Re: RS6 Ceramic Breaks ??

Are they relaying personal first hand information to you? Yes they are expensive to replace if you need new discs but they wont need replacing for at least 150k miles+. Steel discs are not that cheap either and barely last 30k. Pads are good for around 100k + and are around £400 so not crazy for thi...

Re: Cable

exhaust flap extension cable? either from milltek or Akra or make your own.. use the pdc connector on one end and an MCON 1703494-1 connector with matching pins.

Re: RS6 Headlight Bulb

Easiest way to check the bulb is to swap the xenon bulb form the other side to this one and test it. Still no joy would then mean testing the control units again by swaping from other headlight. Again check fuses as well just to be sure

Re: RS6 Headlight Bulb

If yours has xenons which a few RS6's did then yes you can replace the bulb- D3S if not then you have full led headlights which are sealed units and no access to leds to change. Do check your fuses on the drivers side iirc for the headlights

Re: Potential alternator fault

Very common failure on the C8 platform, thought they would have sorted this issue by now, however yours must be the earlier version hence inevitable failure

Re: No warm air only cold

Take off the panel under the windscreen. You will see the 2 pipes entering the cabin area from the engine bay. there is a pump there as well so check the temp on the pipe pre and post pump.
Until you get the air temp sorted coming into the cabin you will have condensation issues in the cabin

Re: No warm air only cold

Check if you have hot water coming into the cabin area by feeling the pipes in the plenum chamber. There is a valve there which could be the issue

Re: Ceramics AND Steel.... Anyone?

a frankenstein car. Audi never did such an option. Either full ceramics or full steel. Ceramics have a different brake booster/ cylinder. Probably staff had a 'lost' set in the parts department and fitted them to his car.

Check the arb drop links. Can cause knocking noises if work or bolts not tightened correctly
