Re: RS4 best mods

Ok ok lol, MRC are good! I'll get some prices from them, should be around the same sort of money as Unit20 I'm guessing?
I know they have a good reputation. I'd love to get it all done in one go but that's going to be expensive so we'll have to get some prices first n go from there..

Re: RS4 best mods

Remap is definitely on the cards but if I do the mods I've said on this first visit (decoke, gutted pre cats n deflapping) will it still run ok until I go to MRC for the remap n cold air intake :?: Ps. I was given a mint set of 2x 20mm wheel spacers with longer bolts when I bought the car but you ca...

Re: RS4 best mods

Quick update- Just spoken to Martin at Unit20 and the car will be going into them over the next month for a full decoke, gut the pre cats and deflap the inlet manifolds. thats gonna cost me about £1000 and then i can look forward to a stage2 remap and cold air intake on the next visit (also when i h...

Re: RS4 best mods

Ok cheers mate, have you carried out any/all these mods to yours, if so what kind of difference did it make?
I'm after a torque boost farther than big top end BRP gains

Re: RS4 best mods

Ok cheers mate, have you done any/all these mods to yours, if so what kind of difference did it make over standard? I'm not really too bothered about silly top end horsepower figures for mine tbh same on my bikes, silly top end figures sound great down the pub but what I'm after is a good fat torque...

Re: RS4 best mods

I'm a bit gutted that the Milltek doesn't really boost performance much if that's the case.. It does sound ok  Just ordered a K&N filter cos the standard one is grubby and I know these filters are good from my bikes. Next step for me will def be, off to Unit20 for a full decoke, stage 2 remap a...
