i wont have another but for a mature owner i should have gone the koni shock route as mentioned above-less labour [just the shocks on the rear instead of dropping rear beam] and decent height...my b14 i fitted looked like scrap within a few months of being fitted,poor poor finish for a product appro...

as said cheap cars are priced low for a reason-however the easiest way to get a financial headache with an rs4 is to buy one that has lowish[sub 100k miles] pay a premium for a big spec[optics,heated rears,tech pack etc] and is on drc etc.the pitfalls here are it will need a clutch if no evidence,dr...

This is not true. I ran something like just over -2 degrees camber on the front with perfect toe and it wore the tyres out very quickly. If you are lowering it you will need adjustable arms or be prepared to replace front tyres more often than normally required. I imagine your coilovers on max heigh...

simple cut off date-if before its "low theft" tax if above its high theft-they didnt backdate the tax to be on all high output cars thankfully
like fag tax,fuel tax,drink tax,sugar tax if they can use it as an excuse to rinse money out of folk they do

the rnse i have reads discs well and has a good screen so i"ll flog it once its out,as i never use its features its a complete waste,and makes nil difference to the value of an a4 estate

i have a cheapo symphony lined up for £40 if i decide to go ahead
but thanks for offer anyway-i never use the sat nav in a car tbh-phones one is good enough for when i need it

b7 rnse removal-replacing with lower end unit

can anybody tell me the easiest and cheapest unit i can fit in place of rnse[its not an rs4 but a b7 s line estate] car has bose and what bits /coding if any i have to carry out

its a 2 minute fix in practice
i coded my skoda vrs tdi one off-even easier but sadly you cant do this with the b7

if you get stuck-particularly wih the new mot rules the light can be put out permenantly by earthing it in the passenger footwell....

All the pins had seized in the caliper . Ended up drilling them all out.
