Re: TPMS Error Code 01521 after 10mins of driving
On this platform (C6 RS6), are the receivers integrated into the wheel well liners, or is there a central aerial system that might be failing after sustained use? From the diagrams, the receivers are in the arches but send their info to a central processing unit behind the dash with the rear sensor...

Re: Does ECU Upgrade Improve Throttle Response on RS6 C6?
Just so that the terms you used are clearly understood - do you mean upgrade to be "a replacement, better ECU" or do you mean upgrade as in "a re-map of the existing ECU"? I ask because saying "upgrade" usually would mean fitting a new, better device, and I'm not sure there is any way to do that eas...

Re: Pre-facelift vs. facelift reliability?
Other than being a few years younger, which is always an advantage, the changes made don't seem to have any noticeable effect on reliability from what I've seen from people posting on here. As for a price premium, again it'd just be because the cars are slightly newer, and that for me at least would...

Re: RS6 C6 – Preventive maintenance tips?
Yeap, whilst I love REP their last few videos have seemed a little bit "the sky is falling" for the normal person, when in reality his understandable concern is that, with parts taking longer and longer to get, cars that are waiting for parts will block his ramps up, reducing the quick turnaround of...

Re: RS6 C6 – Preventive maintenance tips?
The biggest issue by now is a mixture of parts becoming difficult to buy, and age causing plastic to get brittle, seals to degrade, rust to start etc so basically all the issues you'd get with any 15+ year old car. There's a few common issues by now - oil pump seal leaking - coolant lines corroding ...

IMGUR has now geo-blocked the UK so pictures won't load anymore.
Juts a heads-up for fellow users - IMGUR has now geo-blocked the UK due to the risk of being fined by the UK Government due to the Online Safety Act. This means that , without using a VPN etc, no-one from the UK will be able to see pictures hosted by IMGUR, which means many threads on here will "sud...

Servicing time at MRC Tuning in Banbury, including fixing my "low pressure windscreen washers" and a full set of new spark plugs. During the air filter change it was noticed that the diaphragm on one of the airbox mounted Blow Off Valves (BOVs or dump valves had torn since the last dyno run a few mo...

Re: Part ID - Recirc / Diaphram on bottom of Air Intake
Just an update should anyone else need this info - Replacement OEM dump valve or blow off valve etc - I just had my two replaced at MRC today, if you remove the OEM one fitted into the bottom of the airbox, then drill out the hole left behind to 25mm (1inch), you can press fit B5 RS4 BOV's directly ...

Re: Correct rear brake pads
Both links are the exact same pad, the "TRW" stuff is just some eBay waffle, but either of those two links will fit our rear calipers as both pads are identical.

Re: Winter Wheels & Tyres
You have some options - if you want something to match the OEM 20in wheel you need the following - 20" x 9.5" ET36 5x112 Or you can go with the smaller 19in OEM wheels which are - 19" x 9" ET38 5x112 Both sizes can be found on eBay etc quite cheaply if its just a "winter set" you're after. As for ty...

"503 Service unavailable" - continual error message for past 6+ weeks
Hi Phil,
Been getting these messages continually for the past 6+ weeks now, with the forum being unacceptable until the early hours. Anything we can do to help or this an internal issue?

Re: Someone with VCDS - A quick Low Fuel Pressure check for me please.
Fixed, fuse SA2 for the coil-packs had blown, had a 10A fuse fitted instead of a 30A fuse as per the wiring diagrams, no idea why or when it may have been fitted.

It's back and with a very simple fix, yet still lived upto its name as the £1000 car because anything happens at all and it usually starts at £1000 to fix it! So, after suspecting fuel it turns out there's nothing wrong with the fuel system. I got help from another RS6 owner on the RS Forum who chec...

Re: Part ID - Recirc / Diaphram on bottom of Air Intake
The way Audi designed it is that your "supposed" to order a whole new lower airbox which comes with one installed - that's such a joke isn't it, being told by Audi to order a massive part rather than a simple replaceable unit! My only concern would be what boost levels those non-RS6 valves might cop...
