Re: Secondary cat delete - costs and issues?

MRC are miles from me unfortunately as I'm in Edinburgh. There aren't many specialists up this way, to be honest I don't really know of any particularly good tuners up this way. https://www.facebook.com/pg/MRCTuningScotland/about/ Have a look, not saying good or bad or even if they're affiliated to...

When you Say “The” do you mean “A”? Layer Cake RS6 as you call it?
Hi Eddie H, you do know of "The" RS6 in question don't you? Or am I "misunderstanding"?

Re: Rear view mirror failed

Just had this happen too. I'm thinking that it's due to the recent hot spell as the headlining has gone south pretty much same time....sigh

Re: Part no. ABS sensor

Ok, doesn't look as though this job is going to be costed at one standard RS unit mercifully. Thanks for all the advice, I'll report back hopefully when cured.

Re: Part no. ABS sensor

Well, that went really well...for a day. Replaced the sensor, test drive, quick scan, all good. On the daily run out today, still good until about 5 miles in, gentle braking to a red light...fecking ABS & ESP lights illuminate on the dash. Bugger. Re: Brakes - hard braking, feel worn

Probably boiled the fluid. When was it last changed? Would have been changed last service, July last year. I was reading up about that, do you think boiling the fluid is a possibility? It's not that a took it around Nurburgring or anything. Would 2 hard 100-0mph braking actions be enough to boil it...

Re: Part no. ABS sensor

Yep, that's exactly the same as my issue. Got a new sensor coming today (Pagid apparently, £35+vat whereas TPS wanted £250+vat 😳😡) and take it from there. Ahooga, could you give us the heads up on where you sent the module to get fixed & how much?

Re: Part no. ABS sensor

VCDS says nsf issues, looks a bit pitted, scored. Hoping not ABS module 😬
