Expected a totally different response on here! Ha, good points made.
Had never considered the FF, only issue with that is ageing interior...I’m very put off by dated interiors...costs me a fortune!
Think I’ll be holding off a while though...M5 comp 6 months to a year may be a way forward.

What are the realistic alternatives
Currently driving the 991.2 GTS & a Q5 S Line (one for fun one for winter) and looking in to the RS6 as a do all replacement (had 2x B8 RS4s & a Macan Turbo PP) got me thinking what are the realistic alternatives to the latest RS6, here are my thoughts: 1. RS6 FTW 2. RSQ8 3. Porsche Cayenne Turbo 4....

Re: Black Launch Edition at my dealer
Sebring at Perth Audi today. I’m sorely tempted...911 would need to go, and that’s a hard one to take... Mines a Sebring on order. Be keen to know your views on it. I’ve seen a couple of videos and it looks very dark blue/black in some lights, but not sure how it looks in the metal? It honestly loo...

Re: Ordered one
It's across Porsche too - it's something to do with the strength of the signal repeater not meeting an Ofcom reg. so post fix, is the signal repeater going to be stronger or weaker? I can only think it is too powerful and so will be weaker  Weaker. It’s to do with the strength of transmitter i...

Re: Configurator
I’ve just ordered mine and dealer indicated today he needed to “legally” write me a note saying all mpg figures were nonsense and subject to new review. As we would all know they are nonsense anyway but I guess some actually believe you could get 30+ out an RS4 ...... They aren't/weren’t nonsense. ...

It's across Porsche too - it's something to do with the strength of the signal repeater not meeting an Ofcom reg. No porsches are allowed out of the dealership until at least next week (until the fix is ID'd & complete) Porsche seem to have a quick temporary fix (probably unplug the repeater). My n...

Re: Dealer service costs.......
I don't believe they can refuse to use your own oil, as long as it meets the VW specification for the service being carried out. My dealership always uses the oil I provide. My point on this one is; how do they categorically know that the oil you provide meets those standards? Sure it can be printe...

Re: Dealer service costs.......
All my local stealers are not allowing you to bring in your own oil now They should match opie oil prices if they want your business, they sting you on labour so it’s not like it’s bad business for them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I can see why they wouldn't allow self supplied oil. they'll...

Re: How much does spec affect price?
Thanks all It’s a bit of a hypothetical question. Curious say between basic spec price through a garage for a 13 reg 40k miles car or a 14 reg 30k miles car I looked at a trade against a Macan Turbo and garage quoted the WeBuyAnyCar as a guide as they often do but that in no way reflects variance i...

Re: Price Guide for my 2007 B7 RS4?
Its an 11 year old car now...exterior looks awesome...kudos for all the work carried out too, but i think 12-15k is where it’s money is. 12 for trade in.
