Re: RS6 vs RS6+ brakes
On tracked Porsches most remove the CCB and put on steel brakes. My Gallardo and 430 have CCB. They both squeel a bit. Love the apparent lack of brakedust :D This. The steels are huge and as of yet I've not had a single issue with them. In fact I think the tyres have been skipping a little more tha...

Re: Car getting detailed/paint correction.
Looking forward to seeing the end result. Mine has been pencilled in and out a few times now. But a crash today on the exact corner I had a 6inch scratch probably pushes me towards getting it done soonish

Re: Audi Customer care email address? Dealer riping me off?
The answer to the above is in the wording of the warranty. The warranty bought/given/etc is final in all instances. Much like an insurance claim if you hit a car pulling out in front of you. If you are proven over the speed limit even if the 'fault' of the incident lies solely with the car pulling o...

Jebus. That's one hell of a hand from the coffers.
I bet you walked out after handing over your deposit looking somewhat like a Cheshire cat.

Re: Feeling a Little Inadequate
Ah. That would make more sense with what I was told.
Do you happen to know in what way the C6 was subsidised, i.e. to what degree they were discounted?

Re: Custom Exhaust - Need help.
Hmmmm, not 100% correct there. A stock car with just performance air filters will give you just over 600 PS. I know this because a friend's car with that set up has produced 602 on MRC's rollers recently. http://dontdrinkbeer.files.wordpress.com/2012/03/1331105001794.jpg I've had the ITG's sat in m...

Re: Feeling a Little Inadequate
Yeah, no I didn't mean to imply the engine is a Lambo, but derived... I think in terms of numbers C7s will certainly be higher. I seem to remember reading somewhere at some stage that approx:2700 C6s were built worldwide (*Quick look on Wiki suggests it was total prod. run of 8,000. I have no argume...

Re: Custom Exhaust - Need help.
Yeah, that suggests you got the 20/30 (depending on what was already lost through age) BHP increase a more expensive aftermarket exhaust would give. I think the main issue is this. The likely-hood of having had an exhaust as well built as your seems to be in terms of power increase is somewhat of a ...

Re: Feeling a Little Inadequate
I've driven the C7 and (as has been said) it is somewhat of a step up from the C6 in terms of refinement, you CANNOT add build to that. But, the C6 will be more desirable a car in 5 yrs time onwards I believe. I personally find the C6 more desirable for a number of reasons, not least it's unassuming...
