Re: Yellowish Fluid Leak Driver's Side Aux Rad Air Intake
Thanks to all, for the respective inputs. I am not entirely convinced of the cat's p#ss theory, although I sincerely do hope it is just that... Some more background information - the 'leak' is not apparent after every journey. I have had a few short journeys over the past couple of days with the oil...

Re: Yellowish Fluid Leak Driver's Side Aux Rad Air Intake
Thanks gents.
My first thought was the oil cooler pipes too, because of the location, but what swayed me was the colour of the fluid - it is yellowish, whereas, coolant is pinkish, plus its sitting at its max.
Brake fluid is yellow/green but it too is sitting at it's max.

Yellowish Fluid Leak Driver's Side Aux Rad Air Intake
Hello, there appears to be a fluid leak at the intake to the driver's side auxiliary radiator. Some splashes can be seen in the attached picture just behind the grill at the RHS. There is also some fluid on the splitter below the main front grille. I have checked the readily accessible fluid levels ...

Re: Race The Runway at Edinburgh Airport
When I looked at what was in the carpark when I arrived, I had thought I was going to be lucky to make it past the first few runs, let alone make it into the semis - I was in the 911. The distance was nowhere near long enough to see similar to either VMax or 30-130, and I was happy to go over 160mp...

Re: got my b7 - some questions
There's no question that the buckets provide far superior support under spirited driving. The comfort seats permit so much movement (sliding around) on the twisties that you immediately think 'oh no, what have I done'. If you can live with the fact that you are going to have to learn how to brace yo...

Re: Wanted RS4 Avant B7 & what about this one?
Check to ensure that the engine start button just needs a brief 'press' and not a 'press and hold' which, as I found out recently through the knowledgeable members of the forum is indicative of a failed clutch pedal switch. This also affects the cruise control which will not work. Though it is an ea...

This EVO video shows the Avant and Touring address a few corners:

Mind you, on your, ahem, private road, the M5 can do this...

Re: Newbie
Thanks rs4Mav for your response. Yes, I agree with you on the Avant. I was actually looking for one for ages but good one's are like hen's teeth over here in NI! Settled for the saloon though and am delighted I did... Re. the clutch pedal switch, it is amazing how such a cheap part can make such a d...

Re: Newbie
Thanks guys. Great advice on the clutch pedal switch! Slightly Off Topic, but TimDogg I see from your signature that you used to have an ST220. So did I! I did over 100k miles in it. It was a great car, quick (not fast per se) with foolproof solid handling. I always thought it was hugely underated c...

Re: Newbie
Thanks for your post and the ubiquitous FON welcome. Cheers. I have reset the 2nr settings under Tyre Pressure on the DIS but the TPMS warning keeps coming back every day or two. There's no loss of pressure though. It is interesting to hear your advise on the engine start button. Are you suggesting ...

Hello everyone. I have just recently (<1 month) joined the B7 RS 4 club and am excited at the prospect of ownership of an 06 62k saloon in Mugello blue. Having spent some time reviewing this forum, I can clearly see that ownership of this superb driver's car does not come without its risks. That sai...
