Re: Unavailable parts...

Just came across a related parts issue.

Re: Water in drivers footwell

Not the top lid, but below that.
There was leaves and dirt in that space, but I also had the seal around the ECU which failed.
The plenum chamber filled up with water, then went through the seal and into the footwell

Re: Water in drivers footwell

Have you checked the plenum chamber for debris and dirt
I had a similar issue in my saloon and that was the cause... Along with a dodgy seal on the ECU housing.

Re: Suspension

Hey, It depends on which suspension you have. There are 3 different kinda as far as I know. Comfort, Sport and Sport+ I'd say ring Audi, give them your VIN and they can give you a part number and a price. Then you can see if you can source one cheaper or not. That's how I'd go about it Yep, I'd agr...

Re: Brake issues/advice

It's interesting as I feel the same about the brakes on mine. Even after a new set of discs/pads I felt it was still lacking bite. Now they work, but I feel I need to apply quite a bit of pressure to get the best out of them. So any tips for more initial bite would be great. Sent from my HD1903 usin...

Re: Intermitant limp mode

It's it only that one code you are getting? I had a similar issue and it came down to an ECU problem, but I think I had different error codes. Then there are two ECUs in a Master/Slave setup so needed both replaced. I was lucky to have an aftermarket warranty to cover most of it, not cheap.... Sent ...

Re: Error free DRL's

All good so far anyway!
The issue on the old DRL was some of the LED on one bulb had blown.

Re: Error free DRL's

After a bit of searching and weighing up the options I ended up ordering a new set from Trups/EM Tuning
They have released a V2 earlier this year and in fairness the customer service was top notch so I'll give them a go and report back.

Re: Error free DRL's

Just aesthetics really!
The LED just look much better than the halogen and if there was an error free one it would be great.

Re: Error free DRL's

So my RS4 is back on the road 3 months now and one of the updated Trups DRL has failed, it was throwing errors for a while but fully gone now.

Interested to hear if anyone has any other solution apart from back to standard?

Re: Service History gaps

What's the mileage on the car now and was the last service recent?

20k isn't a massive gap, but it's not ideal.
I wouldn't completely write it off.
Just depends on how many others are out there and if there are other better options.

Re: Service History gaps

If the work was done in the previous owners ownership then they should be able to get it.
If it was under a different owner then I doubt they would get access with GDPR and all that.

Re: S Button Decal off ebay

Popped DMB an email and got a link, a good bit cheaper than the bay! Thanks.
