Oil Pressure sender Location
Hi All,
I'm after the location of the oil pressure sensor/sender on the B7. I found its location on a lot of other engines but nothing clear cut for the 4.2.
Cheers.

Re: Going the distance/high mileage/proper keeper.
My plan would be (ideally) to keep the car forever. I don't want a paddleshift, a turbo etc etc - love the car and it's engine - they genuinely don't make them like this anymore. I'll have the exhaust replaced with a Milltek or somesuch at some point. Assuming I'm driving until I am 80, that would ...

Re: Anyone here changed their clutch switch?
Never had to do either of these switches myself, but here is the info ELSA has on the process. If that's any help to you both? click to enlarge Lower_Clutch_Switch.jpg Upper_Clutch_Switch.jpg Anyone would have a copy of the section "Remove storage compartment on driver's side: General body repairs,...

Replacing the clutch switches, in the meantime...
I would have like to know which pins can be shorted so I can start the car... I believe the upper switch is 4 pins and is the one "driving" the starting procedure.

Tempermental fan
This is stating to drive me nuts... 5-10 mins after stopping the engine, the fan kick starts full blast... put the key in the ignition, it stops. Walk away another 5-10 mins, it starts again. Any ideas? Worst case scenario, I don't mind disconnecting it for the night. If anyone could tell me where t...

Re: Intake deflap, port seperator removal/spacer questions
If you just remove the flaps without re-mapping the car you will get errors. Regardless of the car being already mapped, it will have to be re-done to avoid the errors.

Wheel bolts
Hi peeps,
I bought myself some spacers (H&R) and they came with corresponding wheel bolt length. However, the bolts have a fixed radius as opposed to "loose" for the OEMs. My question was if they were inter-changeable or if I needed to purchase new ones with a loose radius?

Mobile bodyshop
I wondered if anyone could recommend a mobile bodyshop? If at all possible a national outfit. I'm looking at having a dent on my rear wheel arch removed. Doesn't have to be the cheapest, I'm looking more for quality of work and execution.
