Re: RS4 BRAKE JUDDER
I have the same problem too and it's getting worse. Changed my discs and pads to Tarox discs and yellow stuff pads and only covered about 500 miles when I started to feel a slight judder which is now even worse. Getting the discs replaced as I thought they were warped but after reading through this ...

Re: Does anyone use a car cover?
I bought a fitted cover from Hamilton Classic a few years ago and thought it was brilliant, had it to cover my Nissan Silvia whilst it was off the road in the winter months. Just been on the website and they say that Chris Evans uses them for his fleet of Ferraries whilst they are on tour so if they ...

Engine light
Had the picture of the engine come up on the dash this morning, stopped the car and turned it off and back on but was still their. According to the manual it's saying "emission control system" and to take the car to a qualified workshop as soon as possible in order to have the fault rectified. Anyone...

Re: F-F-F-Flippin' RS4s
If your going to just replace the rad I would do both,i had the same problem a few weeks ago so just done away with the drivers side one and put a caf in and changed the passenger side one. Passenger side wasn't leaking but wasn't in great condition and would probably have failed within the next yea...

Re: Leak front right from bumper
Just read through this whole thread and couldn't help thinking that surely if you had just tasted the fluid doc when you first noticed it you would have known what it was there and then. Anyway I just done the aux rad delete and caf on mine last weekend with the help of the 'how to' thread in the F&...

Re: Forge cooler bolts
Cheers Ben,thought I'd been sent the wrong ones cos they look so similar. Yeh metal to metal is never a good idea,I thought they would have changed the blocks for plastic or rubber ones rather than just change the length of the bolts slightly but if it works then happy days.

Has anyone fitted their new oil cooler bolts yet? If so has it stopped the vibration noise? Recieved mine through the post this morn and they look just the same as the ones that are on it already,if anyone who has these could take a pic of there's and post it here so I can compare to mine it would b...

Re: Exhaust valve closed
I used 3in1 oil on mine and it seemed to do the trick, never had any problems with it since,I also sprayed it on the arm that operates the flap on top of the exhaust too. Done the other one too to stop it potentially sticking also.

Re: best thing i have ever bought!!
I've got a mk4 gt tdi 130 for daily duties too and what a brilliant car it is,50 mpg and can still lift it's feet pretty quickly when I put the foot down (not as quickly as the RS4 though
) I probably tell more people how good the golf is more than i do the RS4 tho it kind of speaks for its self!!
