Re: comfort seats...
I’m pretty sure they are. Had both S4 and RS4 and apart from the embossing (and the RS being half alcantara) I seen no difference.

Re: Deep Green Avant
Looks like I have your old car gurj001. Bought it in 2013 and it’s still a pleasure to drive 7 1/2 years later.
Although I think it only covered about 400 miles last year

Re: Chance of finding a Deep Green Avant?
Rule 1 was adhered to, years back! I’m offshore just now with shockingly bad WiFi and can’t get signed into photobucket to upload any just now. I bought it from a forum member so there are pictures floating about on here. Mileage is now 73k, another 3 motors between me and the wife means it sometime...

Re: Chance of finding a Deep Green Avant?
I’ve got one. Probably the one near Aberdeen mentioned above. Comfort seats but cream Alcantara exclusive interior rather than race cloth. Done under 10k in 6 years but I’d regret parting with it I think.

Re: What size spacers
Could someone also post the part no’s. I ordered a set from eBay, genuine H&R, which were listed as fitting the B7 only to have the order cancelled by the seller as they said that there is an issue with fitment.
Cheers

Re: Lumpy and hesitant on light acceleration.
Cheers for the replies. Will look into that next time it’s in for a service. Do the flaps not throw up a warning light if it’s out of position?

Lumpy and hesitant on light acceleration.
I’m experiencing above problem until the car is fully up to temperature. I know they are a bit hesitant when cold but this is worse and only disappears when temperature hits 90 (engine not oil). It only seems to to be under light throttle, when I accelerate a bit harder it is smooth as normal. It is...

Re: Bike rack
Roof is my preference, I use the Mont Blanc aero bars and their discovery racks, maybe not the best but they do the job. Can fit 4 bikes on the roof. Had a boot mount rack from Thule, it was a flaff, you can't use the boot and have to remount it for the journey home. Got a Thule tow bar rack for the...

Re: Help with a part no please.
Ok mystery solved. Seems you cannot buy the small insert separately, you have to get the whole bracket assembly which to me is hard to spot on the diagram. http://www.partsbase.org/audi/audi-rs4-avant-quattro-rs4-eu-2006-80550-lock-carrier/#p-aud-8e0805363 Part no's for anyone interested are 8E08053...

Re: Help with a part no please.
Cheers nij, but that is seemingly not the right part. It is in the correct place but nothing like the part that came out. I have left the broken bit with TPS see what they can find but spent over an hour there and at Audi with no joy. Surely I can't be the first to break one, it was even mentioned t...

Help with a part no please.
When the bumper was removed for the oil cooler replacement this week the two small adjusters at the top of the bumper sheared, this is not the larger plastic ones that are lower down. They consist of an alloy left hand threaded insert and a small M6 torx bolt. Been to both Audi parts and TPS and bot...
