Re: Brake servo assistance - or lack of it
Yeh, I've recently had the same problem, and it was the suction jet pump. it's a big job, lots to stir down and Audi don't have all the required spares you need. I replaced everything while I had it stripped down, better safe than sorry later on.

Re: Engine Management Light on Engine overheating
Vagcom is genuine but for some reason it won’t connect to Address 1 or 2. I’ll contact them for assistance and see if they’ll come up with a solution to the Vagcom. My initial thoughts are just to replace the pump and thermostat. I don’t suspect a blown head gasket as the engine was running smoothly...

Engine Management Light on Engine overheating
The engine management light has come on in my car, but initial indications were that the engine was running okay and was running well. I stopped the engine and I noticed that the main radiator fan was running flat out but the engine wasn't overheating initially. I later noticed when I ran the car th...

Injector washer
Hi, I’m looking for the plastic washer that holds the injector o’ring in place. Audi don’t even list it as a part so don’t supply it which seems crazy. I’ve seen them supplied from Germany but was hoping I might be able to source them in the UK, anybody got any ideas where I might get them? I think ...

Additional Water Pump
I'm trying to source the Additional Water Pump as mine is leaking - Part Number: 078121601E, but they seem to be like Hens Teeth. Audi have none, and apart from the rare second hand one in Europe somewhere, I'm scratching my head. I was wondered if anyone knows either where I can get one or if the o...

Brake Servo Vacuum pump/valve failure
I originally started off with my engine management light coming on, but initially engine was running fine and no issue with brakes. Eventually engine started to run lumpy and after 15 minutes driving I had no brakes I made contact on here and a few guys pointed me in the direction of a vacuum leak o...

Re: Engine Management Light
Gents' I need your help again if possible? Given the age of the car I had intended to replace all the servo vacuum tubing and the bracket, but as usual Audi have nothing. Is there a good aftermarket place for items like this or somewhere that can make these pipes for the car so that I can replace th...

Re: Engine Management Light
Thanks for your help guys, I have passed on the info to the mechanic so hopefully that'll cure the problem. I remember now when I first got the car many years ago that I had a similar problem and a lot of the tubing was replaced. Once again thanks for your help, its greatly appreciated

Engine Management Light
Im looking for some help, the engine management light came on the car but was driving fine. I put VagCom on but no faults came up? I put it into the garage I use and the only fault they could get was Random Engine Misfire. I hadn't experienced it but the mechanic said the engine was running very lum...
