The visible oil was sitting in the V according to the tech. I've not seen it myself. Now it shouldn't be as the remaining leak is dribbling down the front of the engine from the head gaskets - proof of this will be in the dye.

dont think it is the chain covers, the leak is coming down the front of the engine. could easily be wrong tho!
