I vaguely recall a TSB that came out regarding a rattling noise at low rpm and disappears once the rpm increases over roughly 3k. The solution was to re-shim the L/H output flange on the front diff.

I had the same alternator whine issue after installing an aftermarket kenwood head unit. I was able to sort it by installing a couple of ground loop isolators. So far no issues and no engine noise through the speakers [emoji106]
