RE:
According to the Audi UK site there appears to be a few 04 and even 05 cars around. The prices seems to fluctuate that much it's hard to guess what the price might be next February, it all depends on mileage and whether you buy privately, Main Dealer or other garages. I'm sure there will be one or t...

The figures I was given were, 501bhp and 505 lb/ft

Gearbox query
Well I'm assuming it's a gearbox query. When travelling along with light throttle travel in 5th and accelerate with medium throttle travel the gearbox seems to surge and doesn't seem to know what gear it's in, it almost feels like it's misfiring. Light throttle or foot to the floor it's ok Has anybo...

Re: RE: Re: DMS tune done - impressive indeed.
sorry demon? who tuned your car? AMD or DMS? as in did amd do jsut the rolloing road for you or did they tune it? Re-chipped and tuned on the rolling road by AMD and I kept the stock exhaust. I would imagine both of our figures would be similar as we are both experiencing the same grin factor  .

RE: Re: DMS tune done - impressive indeed.
My stock car figures were 447.6 bhp and 425.4 lb/ft and after the upgrade were 503.1 bhp and 505.5 lb/ft.
Your summary above is spot on as to the way my cars runs now, I couldn't have put that any better.

RE: new rs6 owner
Welcome to the forum
That was a fairly big jump going from an S3 to a RS6, how are you finding it size wise, ok ?
The price seem's ok, was that from an Audi dealer though and did you part ex your S3

Has anybody noticed the front valance is different on the blue model, the other colours follow the profile of the grill ? the blue one has what looks like mouldings at the bottom of the doors, and no silver mirrors.
Don't like the peashooter exhausts though.

RE: What is this switch?
I've had a look in my handbook and found nothing, I'm guessing it could be space for a switch used in another country, i.e the States. You could try asking the same question on RS6.COM as that site may have more American/multi nationality users.

Thanks everybody for the replies, I'm holding back at the present, I haven't decided what to do. I have had an M3 coupe on order since Oct 04 and may decide to buy the new RS4 to keep me going until the M3 comes out, but I want to test drive the Audi first. I don't want to spend thousands on RS6 upg...
