Re: Has anyone had their rs3 remapped?
Numerous reports of cardan shaft (propshaft) bolts breaking at the attachment to the Haldex on re-mapped cars. ALL cars are now checked (official) for re-map and where found the warranty is void. These bolts have been found to fail on standard cars to and the unofficial advice is to limit launch con...

Mine was a special order doodlebug, one of the first built in 2011, and the paintwork is A1 perfect!

Re: A one off Racing Mica RS3
Maybe so Ian but it's the paint structure you'll need to consider: some are flat, some metallic, and some pearl. In the standard RS3 colours (2011 brochure) only Ibis white is listed as 'standard' and that's 'flat'; the listed (+£510 optional) 'metallic' colour is Suzuka grey, while Phantom black, D...

Re: OZ wheels getting trial fitted...
I was at the launch if this new pattern in the spring and we were testing these against all the big tyre names that everyone raves about...(me included) and the yoko's were amazing in both wet and dry tests over two days on track and road conditions. I'm sure other brands have new patterns under th...

Re: OZ wheels getting trial fitted...
It's the tyres that are of interest Glenn, the tyres. I've always used Yoki's on previous cars and have never found them wanting and when I change from the Conti's, and I've no problem with them for general road use, it's the Advan's I'd be looking at. Please give feedback when you can.

Re: RS3 Brake Recall
My brakes are A1 perfect following Audi's 47i6 brake upgrade and religiously undertaking my own bedding-in procedure to Brembo recommendation (as posted elsewhere). :nogarors4: :kissmyrings: Added 20th October: 750-miles in now and still A1 perfect... Slightly longer pedal travel, similar to the TTR...

Cornflower blue NOT Kingfisher blue
The ONLY place this unique (only one) coloured Cornflower blue RS3 was advertised TerryN was on the DK Engineering website in October 2011, go see ://www.dkeng.co.uk/Vehicle_Archive/219/Audi_RS3.html There is a reason as to why it was ordered in this particular colour but that need not be explained ...

Re: RS3 Brake Recall
car has been fully tested, brakes are working as expected problem is it has ruined the car for me, i would rather have the old squeaky but brilliant brakes back or just sell the car than use it as it is ... I know of 2-guys now using the Brembo Sport pad (post the 47i6 brake upgrade Dave) and both ...

Re: RS3 Brake Recall
That IS GOOD news... But different people report different characteristics Nick: I'm now concluding it's maybe people... Having had some fascinating feedback from Audi UK, post-Goodwood, I'm now persuaded to have the 47i6 upgrade to my own RS3 in September; I'll bed-in religiously and then monitor.....

Re: RS3 Brake Recall
These Audi/Brembo brake pads have a Pagid friction material - the originals/my brake pads are Pagid AQ 04 (though marked with both Audi and Brembo identification) Pagid recommend the following bedding-in procedure: "4-6 brake applications with medium pedal pressure from approx 90mph to 50mph, not al...
