Hi all,

My B8.5 is dead with fault currently diagnosed by a VAG tech as communication to transmission control unit lost!

Any thoughts anyone? Local techs just rang me and asked if I had Ghost fitted which might have explained it but currently stumped

Gearbox issue is only in D on my car, if you operate in sport or manual its fine. Gutted you don't like it Bam !

I ordered mine on 26th January it was delivered 27th March just under 9 weeks.

The rear carriers (non towbar mounted) won't work due to the spoiler. I had roof carriers on my previous C7 and now have the tow bar and bar mounted carrier on the new car

You need to pull the central section of the diffuser off first, or the towing head will just drop down inside the diffuser. Question for anyone with a tow bar (don't laugh!) and also at the risk of sounding like a right Norbert I can't find in the manual or any vids online but can I just pull the lever in the boot and deploy the tow bar or do I need to remove a diffuser cover at all?
