Re: Sprint Blue progress

Go titanium pack Audi option when new - wheels and mirrors caps matching, can't remem colour code off the top of my head but it's on here somewhere. Suits sprint blue well imo.

Hi John,

We do a few, no need to travel miles, shouldn't really post as I'm not a sponsor but hey ho. Garage is at DN17 4JW 2 minutes from J2 M180 so handy for you particularly if you're North Lincoln.

Re: For Sale 2006 B7 RS4 Saloon

Thanks Marc,

Yes it was mine sold to my friend who has listed it here, really is a very nice example, some may think strong money but I'm selling it through the garage so warranty etc is included :)

Thanks

Re: Acceptable Parasitic Drain

You should be ok at that you will probably find after an hour it will level at 60ish, ideally battery could do with testing after a charge using the likes of Ctek etc if you've not got one plenty of places will do it for free, just make sure they know what they're are doing and aren't salesmen! You ...

Re: Acceptable Parasitic Drain

They shouldn't lock it with the blade, they can take over half hour to go to sleep fully.

Re: Acceptable Parasitic Drain

If you have it in the garage roll all your catches that way you can have all the doors boonet and boot open which makes things easier, there is a method of measuring milli-voltage across fuses which equates to current draw but it's a bit hit and miss. We use an oscilloscope and amp clamp powered thr...

Re: Acceptable Parasitic Drain

Too high that's fifth of an amp, when presented at the garage with a job like this we generally look for under 80mA. Some newer stuff is slightly more but a B7 wants to be 60mA or less.

Ouch, think they'll be ok at that height though after you have them rolled back, typical after the new wings eh! Let us know how it goes.

Re: Dragging clutch issue

Hi Jay, Not unless the clutch is faulty, they are same clutch as fitted in the 3.0TDi which produce more torque, a lot of people use them in TTS charged ones without too much bother if it's new. Granted the plate is the same 240mm diameter as a 2.0TDi but with a different cover which will have less ...

Re: Dragging clutch issue

Difficult to diagnose without looking but does it feel any different the pedal pressure or is the pedal lower?
I would check first for any leaks around the slave, pipework and inside the car rod out of the master cylinder connected to the pedal, hth.

Re: Gutted cats

Providing everything is ok and they get the car up to temp to 'light' the cats they will pass the MOT emission limits with just the pre-cats removed.
