Not a newbie but saying hi again...

Hi all, haven't been on here since I sold my lovely S3 and went back to the M3 fold. :D Since the S3 I have had: Stock E46 M3, E46 M3cs, Z4M Roadster E46 M3, E92 335i So in a round about way I was destined to be back - loveing the twin turbo moter in the 335i but hate the run-flats and no diff. Was ...

OK, Valium taken! To be a bit more constructive I have spoken to a chap today at Jabba who claims to have done many of these kits. The earlier engines apparently make more power due to having slightly more aggressive cams?!? The chap was still quite confident in making 345BHP and 320ft/lb torque - w...

RE: Boost Gadge in S3

Hi tanya, I think I read your post on Audi-Sport. I too have been thinking about this and have come to the conclusion that perhaps some sort of right angled pod that clipped on to the air vent that is between the speedo and the wing mirror(rather like those naff air fresheners or mobile phone holder...

Audi Antenna To be powered or not be powered?

Hello, Trying to get a sensible answer to a question, I have changed my Concert Head Unit in my S3 (as well as adding a couple of amps, subs, components - pictures of install progress available). on the way home from the Car Hifi shop, I yoinked the Concert out and plugged the new Apline head unit i...

VST, I have a question! I downgraded from a E46 M3 to a 225 S3 last week. The car in standard for appeared to be severely conjested and to be fair to a 20v engine, it doesn't appear to want to rev. on the way home from collecting the car it went into AMD for a remap - which return 261/285 (Hp/Ft lb)...

The E55 incedent was from 100Mph, I passed him at 145mph (on my speedo) - me and Wife both looked over to smile but he wasn't havin that and turned away. On the way down the hill the other side I hit my speed limiter (167 on my speedo). We pulled out to pass - but must of hit limiter too as he just ...

Thanks for the advice, there are two for sale in my local Audi dealer - wioll test drive next week. As far as which is quicker, my best kill is a E55 AMG - straight line up-hill drag on a dual carriage way. Can anyone else compare kills - ultimately I am most interested in which car is really the fa...

Newbie First poster... The enemy?

Hi all, just registered today and as usual with these forums, your advice and experience is amazing. Anyway, I have an Estoril Blue 2002 BMW M3 with 15k on the clock and am considering defecting to the other side. Can anyone give me a reason not to and does anyone want to swap? Does the RS4 suffer i...
