RS6 anti-roll bars for sale
I bought these as an upgrade for my 2001 C5 S6 but didn't get around to it before I sold the car. They WILL make the ride firmer (that's how they reduce body roll, DUHH! :bigblink: ) but if you have the balls to push it that hard you're a better man than me! They are as I bought them - good clean co...

Re: C5 S6 Avant owners manual and leather dealer book
Hi Steve, saw your note of Sep 2011 on the RS246 forum. Bit of a long shot I know but I've recently acquired a C5 S6 and have all the paperwork for it except the owners manual (and yes, I did look in the manual storage slot!). Any chance yours is still available? I ask as I can't see a reply on the ...

Re: Not your usual parking sensor problem...
Hi, I've got similar problem with my S6/C5.... middle/right sensor has always looked cloudy but worked fine, and since it sat for 2 weeks at the dealers while I was on hols, I usually get solid beeping sound when reversing... but then it will clear and start functioning normally 1 time in 5 or 6. I ...

Re: Newbie Q - Bose, radio OK, CD/tape dead
Soooo, late update on this but in case it's of interest/help to others.... Steve at Hall54 in Guildford (top bloke, see www.hall54.co.uk) re-pinned the connectors on teh Bose unit and everythng worked fine for a couple of months but the CD started missing again the last few weeks, so we suspect eith...

Re: speedometer out with bigger wheels...any suggestions?
My 2001 S6 Avant has 17" wheels on it instead of the original 18"ers (as shown by the spare!) and the tyre sizes have gone from 40 profile to 35s to correct overall rolling circumference. However, I know speedos can be changed for diffferent wheel sizes - may be wrth a general search, only thing you...

Re: S6 propshaft - refurb-shers?
Thanks guys, had a look on fleaBay and there's a nice low-mileage one ready to go... job done!! Really appreciate the ready responses, spend most of my money in the motorbike world and eBay is not a place I naturally turn to for bits, so thanks also for broadening my vision on that front :beerchug: ...

Re: S6 propshaft - refurb-shers?
Just did a proper search across all fora and found the probable answer on the RS6/C5 board.
Seems at least one kit is available from the US - will follow it up and post back.
Still grateful for help from anybody who has been down this route - no point reinventing the wheel and all that!

S6 propshaft - refurb-shers?
Hi, I recently bought an S6 from a mate, which had a suspected gearbox problem (that I knew about!) - slight and occasional clonking when pulling away, occasional vibration from under the car. The local independent guy I took the car to for a checkover has ID'd the propshaft support bearing as being...

Re: Newbie Q - Bose, radio OK, CD/tape dead
Hi Marky_mark, thanks for the offer, I may take you up on that but now have a couple of things to try first. I've found an independent garage in Guildford who seem really good - bloke was straight up to speed on the car and ID'd a couple of points which are in contrast to the official Audi guys who ...

Newbie Q - Bose, radio OK, CD/tape dead
Hi, Ive had a look on the fora for more info on the Bose unit and can find various combinations of things working/not working but not this combo. The radio works fine but if I put a tape or CD in, it plays for 30 secs then stops and just emits a 'bonging' sound. like the old seat belt warnings on Fo...
