Re: Power Close Tailgate?
So forgive me for being thick but do I need to buy the €109 bit of kit or do some coding? The kit will certainly work, but a bit of coding may also work, until someone tries is out then none can be sure. (we were told by Kufatec the Superb could not be done by coding alone, this has since been prov...

Re: Power Close Tailgate?
Sorry I meant 6D (fat fingers)
The Superb was in adaptations not the long coding, I will however scan it over the weekend to see if any of the long coding changed.

Re: Power Close Tailgate?
Before you go splashing out get VCDS hooked up to the car, my Superb also has the electric tailgate option, which like the A6 was only openable by the button or remote, now Ross-Tech have included the coding so it now opens and closes off the interior button and remote.

Re: Treating leather
When I asked Dr.Leather over on Detailing World the answer was basically any modern car (so yours included) was clear coated, classics and possible anything that has been re-trimmed may still require conditioners (ask the re-trimmer how the leather is prepared) From the Dr.Leather website: “As moder...

Re: Treating leather
Personally I use Dr.Leather wipes, they are much easier to use, smell nice and return the leather back to the natural satin finish.
They can also be bought in smaller 40 wipe tubs:

Re: Treating leather
Works on all leather, smells beautiful mate. Not quite true. Most leather nowadays is clear coated (lacquered) which means any conditioner will sit onto of the clear coat rather than penetrating it and getting into the leather, as it is now sitting on top of the clear coat it will also attract dirt...

Re: VCDS - Adjusting Headlights for Europe
With the normal RHD setting, the beam projects much further along the NS kerb / hedgerow then it does down the centre of the road. My understanding is that the Tourist setting doesn't alter the left / right angle of the beam - it just dips the whole thing down to prevent the extended range part fro...

Depending where you are departing the UK from, I am half way between the Channel Tunnel and the port of Dover.
