Rs5 gearbox selector fault

Been away from audis for 4 years

Looking at a very nice '11 Suzuka Grey car with 56,000km

Seller told me he had a gear selector fault code once but never since

Can anybody enlighten me on what that might be? Is it common? Should I be worried?

Re: Air-con not working.

The AC on my B7 failed over Xmas when we were doing a 5000km trip through the middle of Australia - some days 40deg It would work for about 20min then slowly fade The evaporator was freezing as the orifice was blocked and as it froze the air couldn't get through Does yours have similar symptoms Graze

Re: B7 to B5 RS4 anyone experienced it?

KD I own both, I drive the B5 daily and the B7 sparingly. As you know the B7 is far more refined. But the B5 is a great car (mine is lightly modded but no performance mods). We are planning a long driving holiday over Xmas doing probably 5000km and doing it in the B5. It's comfy, sure footed, plenty...

Re: Bubbling Paint in roof channels. Audi warranty?

Been on this forum for awhile and only just seen a mention for this now  as its a more common problem than I realised. I've had my C5 RS6 for a couple of years and its always had bubbling near the roof rails which hasn't got any worse, could be due to keeping it under cover. I maybe wrongly a...

Re: Never owned a performance vehicle before - do's and don'

Tony An S4 whilst being a performance sedan is a very well balanced everyday package. Common sense, warm it up, if you've really driven it hard let it cool down to normal, otherwise just turn it off, get it serviced regularly and by someone you trust, change the oil every six months 5000km in betwee...

Re: DRC and tyre pressures - am I wrong?

My tyre guy recommended 40/38 in my 275/30/19's using nitrogen

Been very happy with that

And as thy don't heat up like air probably similar to 38/35 pressures

Be interested in this too. What have you got on the front? 18z's or B7 calipers.

Re: Tyre Sealant destroys tyre.

We just did a Brisbane/Sydney/Brisbane trip (2000km) innthe B7 and I took the spare out of the B5 "just in case". Didn't need it fortunately. I'm running 275/30/19's on both cars and have a 265/35/18 spare innthe B5 which works a treat and fits in the whel well.

Re: RS4 vs RS6 Help

Drive both then decide!
I suspect both do things brilliantly but have strengths so ask yourself which one fits you best

Nice dilemma to have

Good luck

Re: Help and advice needed.......New Member First Post!!

What does an 18 yr old know about performance car driving?

I remember at 18 I knew everything only to find out some years later I was mistaken.

The RS4 will give you performance, practicality, style and a huge smile

Find a good one from someone on the forum and enjoy

And welcome by the way

Re: A bit of MRC loving!

For everything but the Revolution piece just under £3400 with a couple of corroded rad pipes replaced too which were found during the health check. Gavin, I need to find someone who has run an SC car everyday and done at least 12k a year in it before I can feel confident about taking the final leap...
