F/S H&R Trak Spacers for RS4 + bolts
Hi I'm selling my H&R Trak spacers plus longer wheels nuts and locking bolts. Spacers are 10mm and 8mm which came of my RS4 which I no longer have. Spacers are only a couple of months old and were bought from Virdee Autos. Price is £150 and I can find out postage if needed. If you're interested PM m...

Re: Thought I had DRC issues..I didn't :)
Hi Is there any visual signs at all? My Avant rattles like a bast?&d at the back and though Audi have said that the rear DRC is leaking it's only a slight leak. As such, Audi UK have declined the replacement for now. However, I'm loosing the will to live and can't believe it's just down to DRC. But ...

Re: DRC replacement costs
ASH555 Another factor is which dealer you take it to. Mine's now going to Camberley already having been back to Swindon. Knocking was first on front o/s which was replaced. Now the rear o/s rattles like a box pf spanners and front o/s has started to knock again. Camberley have the 'special' tool (do...

Paranoia setting in..
Apologies for the usual query on DRC but wondered if someone could explain the elements of DRC as I'm now heading for a padded cell. Symptom: clunky rattle seemingly from the rear when the car is cold going over small bumps/ripples in the road. After warming up, nothing. Car has been back to Audi fo...

Re: Spacers and locking nut hell
Managed to find a Kwik Fit open on a Sunday. They'll charge but at least it'll be sorted.
Got Mcgard locking nuts so next job is fitting the larger locking wheel nut cap onto the new smaller ones.

Re: Spacers and locking nut hell
Yes, just trying to see who's open on Sunday. Is it un-wise to run with one spacer on and one off?

Spacers and locking nut hell
Finally managed to get some H&R spacers - 10mm back and 8mm front. Got one side sorted and looking good, other side underway then disaster: locking wheel nut key snaps  So what do I do now? Can't get the wheel off so will have to take the other side off again and remove the spacer. But I wont b...

Re: Potential new RS4 Avant owner
Hi. Yup, it was me who got the Advant from Swindon. They said it had got a lot of interest!! The car went in today for the DRC check and have to say so far, I'm pleased with the service. Their main snr technician is handling the job and didn't have too much if a good word to say about the DRC system...

Re: Replacement Trim
2k!!
My RS4 is black so it kind of goes. Anyone know how much of a pain the middle console and dash bits are to remove? The doors, I understand, are easy.

Replacement Trim
Hi
Bit of a boring question for a Friday afternoon but my Avant has the carbon trim and I'd prefer the brushed aluminium option. Would anyone know where I could get these or is it a dealer job?
Cheers

Re: New RS4 Owner - Same old issue?
Hi. Thanks, got it booked in now for next Tuesday for them to have for a couple of days so we'll see what they say. Mentioned the DRC to them (along with vibration on hard braking) and they said they'd take a look so if I get a no go, I'll contact you for the details of Audi UK. Thanks for the advice.

Re: New RS4 Owner - Same old issue?
Hi. Got it from Swindon Audi and I even mentioned the DRC before buying it. Near me though is Slough Audi and there's always Fontain in Iver but yes, given the 30 days option, I wanted Swindon to sort it .
Any feedback on these dealers? Cheers.
