Steering knuckle

Steering upright! Bitch bolts! Wheel bearings, control arms
Hello RS4ers, So split bushes on the control arms brought up an advisory so i decided to change them out. Drivers side pinch bolt came out after an hour or so but the inevitable happened on the Near side, bolt sheared, 4 hrs of heating and hitting then stupidly using a G clamp to try and force the p...

Re: Rear B7 abs sensor
4 years later and its kinda helped, the Little bolt holding the sensor rounded off but i got it out by using a dremel to grind flats on the head and a small socket to get it out. im now struggling to get the sensor out, next step is to smash it and drill it out. Ive bought a rear right replacement. ...

Re: MOT Concern
Agreed, it was in the small print that the horn was covered, i fought them over it but aberdeen audi wouldnt give in. Told them this would be the last time my car would be here, take it to an indy now.

Re: MOT Concern
Audi mot protection is worthless imo. My mot failed over a year ago as the horn didnt work correctly. They said the mot protection didnt cover wear and tear!!! What else would cause a failure?!!! Meh, as said before it doesnt cover a 10yo car so doesnt matter anymore.

Re: DRC pipework
Irn bru, Wont you have to replace your shocks too? I took mine to north east motors in newmachar after my drc went, my pipes were also corroded, the bill was gonna be anything up to 6k so i opted for bilsteins, hardly notice the difference tbh, they are maybe a bit harsher on poor road surfaces, was...

Re: Rear brake disc options
I just got the rs4 mot'd and the rear brakes were a corrosion advisory, i just removed both today, cleaned them up and refitted them. Pads still have plenty of life and the discs are at 21mm. I took her for a spirited drive and then had a look, rear discs have barely been rubbed, front discs are lik...

Re: Rear brake disc options
I was looking at these,
https://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-B7_RS4-- ... ES2807004/
Not particularly cheaper once you add in the crappy exchange rate, shipping and possibly the VAT added at customs.
