Re: My Replacement (New) F10 M5

Monte Carlo Blue FTW and should be only for M cars. Ruined now by a million 1 series and 4 series with M badges on - blinking fakes. Don't see why everyone knocks the interior on the M5 - i think its stunning and really well laid out - probably the best interior of the whole BMW range Did you opt fo...

Re: MK2 Golf run in...

I had a 2006 Gti which i had re-mapped to 250bhp
Bloody hell no joke it was damn quick, my old E46 M3 would've had no chance.
It was a right handful in the wet though bit like my Mrs Polo G40 - now that was a mental car.

Re: VW Golf R400 Yes - No ??

First golf to hit £40k i reckon !!
To warrant that price though it'll have to be a limited run of say 4000 cars, If they do that its gonna hold its price pretty well.
Sad thing is though it appears to be manual only ??? OMG no DSG why ???

Re: VW Golf R400 Yes - No ??

Yep they did something similar kicking out a silly 600bhp with a rear mounted W12 engine - purely a concept http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/volkswagen/golf/28922/volkswagen-golf This one on the other hand looks like it could make production, it shares a lot with the new R and maybe the engine is lined ...

High Performance Brake Squeal Issues

Seems like a lot of high performance cars suffer from this, what is the best way to deal with it? Looks like pottering about feathering the brakes glazes the pads causes the brake squeal. Pal at work had his pads changed under warranty on a BM 320d xdrive and the noise came back, he's now got a 435d...
