Re: Site Outage, Abuse, and Mitigation Plans
Would there be an option to limit a users first 5 or so posts to be moderator approved before being moved into a verified user group - to help with the spam in the interim? And like said above those of us wishing to donate to keep the place going can and will. Still just have the fear of pay walling...

Re: Site Outage, Abuse, and Mitigation Plans
I rate this site as valuable as my car - an absolute symbiotic relationship and one would find it really hard to exist without the other. I'm all for supporting it, and have done with purchasing some stickers off Phil recently, but do have to agree with what people have said above... a sub/paywall w...

Re: * HELP * Brake line / joint/union
Sorry I should have specified 3D printed to test fitment then possibly get it machined? I fear we are getting to that stage with some of these parts but I'm open to any other solutions

Re: * HELP * Brake line / joint/union
I have this issue with my rears. Exactly same scenario - upgrading to braided. Had to abandon the rears and only do the fronts. The part is not available from Audi any more and I haven't seen it on the tradition website at all. I'm wondering is this scanable and 3D printable?

Some good advice here hopefully. If you're dead set on solving it maybe try bulb replacement with good thick contacts and then hope it's not the ballast. Please let us know how you get on though.

Re: Headlight issue.
Well I'm not in the UK but the equivalent test here never failed. And that's 14 years of it. It's just a flicker. The longest I've ever seen it go out is 1 second max but it's straight back on again. And that's usually on the low beams. I've never seen it happen on the high beams. I think you'd be f...

Re: Headlight issue.
I've had that for years and any time I've researched into it I've not seen a satisfactory reason or solution. I've seen a few go down entire rabbit holes and replace everything and still have the same result. I've learned to just live with it. Worst case scenario I've had is people notice you drivin...

Re: Failed boot electrics
Literally just open the boot and it's the loom on the left. Can see the pics in that thread I linked. Just a fiddly and long job I'd imagine but very doable with a kit like that.

Re: Brembo Brake Discs
I should have added that I really wanted to go Reyland and would have but the lead time was quite long and I needed the car sorted sooner because I didn't realise it needed discs when it did. Requires a bit of planning next time so if you have that luxury definitely consider Reyland or Tarox.

RNS-E 192 wiring question
Hi all. Posted this in the B7 RS4 forum but I know a lot of you run these units in other cars so just hoping someone can help me with this. Have an OEM 192 K RNS-E that came with my 2007 B7 RS4. Trying to wire up a CarPiHat to the car which needs: - constant 12v - switched 12v - 2x ground This will ...
