Re: Anyone seen this poor daytona on ebay?

My findings were identical Mate. Looking forward to getting it sorted out and track ready. Spoke with Doug at Mrc and gave him all the previous regs from the hpi check to see if he has any history of the car. Wow great price on the car pal. To help you out, to my knowledge the car had never been re...

Good to see you back on here mate, when I was trying to track down my b7 and was reading up about them I vividly remember always reading your build thread it was quality and I always wished you lived in Northern Ireland so I could get you to work on my cars lol! How do you find the e60? I've always...

Re: Anyone seen this poor daytona on ebay?

Oh my word! You only sold it about a year ago? Wow, its had a hard 12 months! :bash: Yeah just over a year as I have owned my M5 a year now. Still looks fairly clean otherwise really but just sad to see it in this state! However we don't know how it happened? it could of been parked up at the time....

Re: Anyone seen this poor daytona on ebay?

This is my old car. If you remember i refurbished the brakes in the same grey as ceramics.

Such a shame and hurts seeing such a good example in that condition.

Re: Headlight ballast

Mine was like a F1 pit lane after messing around with the same problem. Mine turned out to be bulbs and i am sure i have a ballast around somewhere if you become stuck for one.

Re: Brake callipers colour

Awesome Ben! Probably best leaving the rears standard as they are quite small by comparison. Do you miss the car? What have you got now? Yeah the rears could definitely do with an upgrade in terms of cosmetics. Yeah I miss the car! Audi own the market for the interior comfort side of things before ...

Re: Headlight lenses

Doesn't it have to be a xenon lens? I thought the lenses were different between a halgoen and xenon headlight but I might be getting muddled with the internal reflectors. This was the case on my E46 M3 but i got standard halogen lenses and fitted them anyway and could see no difference at all to be...

Hope your well  Was interested in this because i was looking for them, for mine when i had it, with no l...

Re: b7 on axle stands

I did just this, Had car up on stands out in the elements for 2 weeks while having wheels refurbished and there were no problems. I put the stands under the plastic jacking points! Put the front ones in first as they take the most weight. Rears are easy.

Ceramic silver grey... They look really good Ben. Do you have any more pictures of the car side in? And did you do the tears the same or leave them? Left the rears standard. May have more but... http://i1295.photobucket.com/albums/b622/youngben26/2427AF7E-D597-4915-B4B7-D40DBEC191B4_zps6rxku6np.jpg...
