Re: Megga Tuned Audis on Here?
700+ is more than enough and whenever you change turbo's (which you'll have to do to get 800+) you'll have no end of Oil flow and cooling problems. The torque will stay pretty much the same as it will be limited to save the gearbox so you'll only notice the extra 70 odd extra brake when your full th...

Re: Mod decision
The gearbox map by MRC makes a HUGE difference when accelerating at full bore, not to be under estimated.

Re: michelin pilot super sport tyres -any feedback
Porkafly is absolutely right in everything he say's MPSS piss over everything wet and dry. The biggest tell is that the Dunlop's break away much earlier in the wet. They say "reinfoced" on the side this means 102Y which is the correct load rating.

Re: Would you switch from Cayenne S to C6 RS6?
You'll miss the elevated Driving Position.... If you like performance and are likely to use it then you'll loose very little in practicality, however if your not likely to use the performance then I would question such a shift and maybe consider the All Road..... The RS6 (especially tuned) is so fas...

Re: "Torque" Question
I was. I checked the pressures first and had my friend monitor them whilst we did the runs for any adverse changes but of course you cannot plan for a blow out. You only touch that speed so in reality you are only over the 188mph rating for 30 seconds max, I know from racing for the last 15 years th...

Re: "Torque" Question
Its Tuned now by mrc and made 725ps and 919nm with ambient temp of around 17c.
Its super quick and I can't really imagine why one would need a faster car than this for the road. I have seen VMax on a recent trip to Germany which was 218 mph on the GPS before I had to lift.

Re: Tyres?
I used to tyre test at the ring and would say that the best tyre on the market at moment is the Michy super sports. My RS6 arrives next week and i will swap onto michy's as soon as it arrives and sell the Dunlop's.

Re: "Torque" Question
Hi gents, That's all very helpful thoughts and experiences shared there thank you very much. Brings me to another question: Is there a particular gearbox re-builder that is known for rebuilding these GB in the UK and has anyone worked out the weak link yet and designed a particular upgrade / part? p...

Re: "Torque" Question
Not exactly sure what you mean by FON or Rule 1.
Being good for that amount of Torque is quite amazing considering my 18 tonne Scania is 1250NM standard!
I suppose i will call some tuners who would you chaps reccommend?

"Torque" Question
Hi, I am new to the forum but not Tuning cars. I have just bought a C6 RS6 Plus Saloon and fully intend to turn up the wick. I notice that the MTM maps limit the Torque to 785NM and that the MRC maps (and other's) allow the Torque to go up to around 925NM. So my question is can the gearbox take 925N...
