Re: Spare wheel?
Jay, i'm not surprised the dealed didn't know, that p/n is actually for an an A5 as there was no official space saver for the RS4 (afaik) probably because there is nowhere to store it in the car due to the postion of the battery. It was after doing research on here & other forums at the time that i ...

Re: Spare wheel?
just thought i'd mention although i'm sure this has been said already, the space savers won't fit over the front brakes so a swap with a rear is needed if you have problem at the front.

Re: Spare wheel?
Hi, I have an unused space saver available after selling my RS4, part # 8K0 601 027 D, fitted with Continental 125/70R19 tyre, bought from Audi in 2013 & never used (I did test fit it though).
PM me if interested, £100 gets it.
Cheers,
Dave.

Re: Tpms.....are these the right ones ?
update - found the module behind the rear mesh (thanks for the tip), disconnected & retried VCDS. Same error with or without the module connected so I assume its dead. Cleaned connector & checked wiring, seems ok. switched off TPMS so I don't get the error every time I start the car, will order repl...

Re: Tpms.....are these the right ones ?
ok thanks for the info. This morning i got 'TPMS' displayed in the DIS, not the usual yellow or red pic of a tyre so i'm assuming its a system fault like a battery failing. Can i get the detail from VCDS ? so I know which one to replace.
cheers,
Dave.

Re: B7 RS4 Winter Tyres
Not a bad point Iain, if they sit far enough inside the arches to spoil the look of the car then spacers may be needed, still think it was a great deal though. My 19s are going for refurb in the next few weeks so i'll put the 18s on then & post pics, I need to post pics in the newbie section anyway ...

B7 RS4 Winter Tyres
I know winter is a bit away yet but being up here I like to plan ahead for it. Thought about a set of winter tyres for the standard 19" alloys but then found a thread about the 18" option (7.5Jx18 ET21, part # 8E0601025AH) offered by Audi & started looking for a set of those. Just bought a set of ne...

Re: Vcds ordered
update, once i got correct removal tools from Audi & threw away the ebay ones that didn't work....I removed the RNS-E unit & disconnected the Ipod interface. Reconnected the CD changer & now all fine & i can talk to the RNSE. Thanks for the advice. I have changed the startup screen to the RS4 option...

Re: Vcds ordered
Thanks Brn7y, its a white connector & Audi comes up on the Ipod screen when connected. Is this connector removed at the changer or behind the RNSE unit ? Thanks PetrolDave, also got confirmation from Ilexa that the dual K cable does in fact just have one connector. Looking like the Ipod cable is the...
