The gearbox was reprogrammed to do that - effect similar to launch control (gearbox is disengaged until you release brake pedal)
If you're UK-based, MRC can do this for you

Re: Sportmile 1.1k
AFAIK, the car runs nitrous of c. 100BHP which is due to tight packaging of the engine bay the car has and problems C6 have with overheating. As a result, while engine is bulletproof, it is much more difficult to create a sustainable package with more than c. 1,000BHP. The said example did travel to...

Re: Sportmile 1.1k
First run: 1/4 mile 10.3@227km/h (142mph) and 1km at 18.4@292km (182mph). Having known Adam for years, they're keeping a little extra for tomorrow's final runs and wouldn't be surprised to see high 9s for 1/4. Note that this is road surface (and a bit bumpy) and road specced car. Great job! Can't wa...

Re: Removing catalytic converters
it was 50bhp across the band just due to exhaust system change except for the peak power (c. 6500rpm) where the difference was smaller (can't remember exactly now). After retune it was 50bhp on peak revs as well.

Re: Removing catalytic converters
Combination of removal of primary cats, installation of high flow secondary cats and custom-made 3'' exhaust in my case resulted in 50 BHP gain across the revs. The car felt considerably faster but also MUCH louder. I'd advise to test one before doing so in own car as it is pain in the ass to get ba...

622BHP 2006 RS4 B7 Sedan TTS Supercharged - LHD
Hi, I am selling my modified RS4 B7 Sedan, probably only few similar in Europe. The car is based in Poland and I am mainly marketing it locally but given the extent of modifications it may be appealing to some of the international buyers: Base specs: - 2006 - Daytona Grey - Sedan - mileage: 90 000 k...

A video from a nice strip of autobahn near Dresden (apologies for poor quality):
Will install racelogic on my way back and post exact acceleration times.

Re: LOBA LO850P Turbochargers and dyno
You will also notice that some of these cars are sometime running without front plate to increase airflow

Re: LOBA LO850P Turbochargers and dyno
No, no mods to the bonnet. This is totally new system, incl. 3 additional intercoolers. A big change vs. stock cooling. If you run 750 BHP+ tune under stock cooling, corrections kick in after 10sec+ of full throttle acceleration. The addition enables longer runs under peak power (i.e. this gives c.2...

First test of the current setup of the car:

Can't wait for weather to improve

Re: LOBA LO850P Turbochargers
The car has additional cooling, as well as custom-made exhaust. Gearbox is standard (for now). Note this is still very much WIP. I agree with previous poster - this is not for everyone but... there is no such thing as too much power ;-). After a few years of ownership, I believe C6 is still the most...
