I'ts finding the right hand Zimmermann that is the problem. The one on eBay is from Lithuania so I'm a little apprehensive of going that route. especially given the price and duty that needs to be paid on the way in.

I'll keep my eye on Autodoc.

They also suggested these people - BBA-Reman http://www.bba-reman.com/catalogue/Index.aspx?category=2 I called them and they said they could repair for £195 +vat So will give them a try, failing that i'll try the second hand ...

Guys I have a question on the TCU for the 2003 RS6. Is the TCU unit a stock item for A6 models but with a specific program for the RS6? or Is the unit specifically made for the RS6 only? If the former then where could I get the RS6 program mapped on to a second hand unit? If the latter does anybody ...

I think that is the facia plate that they have used.

It really doesn't look out of place.

I still can't get over the sound difference of the unit when coupled with the bose. so much more range.

Paid £679 for the unit and then the fitting, aerial and facia kit came to another £240.
