Sorry, I do know a little more. The leaks are coming from Propshaft to Gearbox (suspected crank seal leak), and Engine to Gearbox. This was picked up by Audi at their inspection. Sorry, no I wouldn't choose CF myself for the reasons you state (similarly with the metal finish) but the OP wants the CF.
