Thanks for the detailed reply. The tie down is certainly an element that I hadn't considered. My main interest was that perhaps the car was not making anything like 700 bhp and the rest of the figures might reveal a scam to make the bhp up to the mtm advertised output, but if you cannot see anything...

If I can't find a reason for the problem I guess the dealer, (non Audi) might help. I hadn't considered that as a solution as it's only a niggle.

My first week with the beast too;

I have the same problem on the driver's side window trims.

It appears to have stained the Ali milky under what seems to be a clear coat.

I was about to replace them if they can't be polished so please save me the trouble?
