I’m not having much luck with the search function; has anyone had a boot mounted bike carrier that works with the spoiler and without the requirement for having a tow bar?
Cheers

C7 Service Intervals - what next?
I've got a 2015 RS6 which has been serviced to schedule, with the last major service being at MRC over in Banbury approx 6months ago. The car is a known mapped car. I've just returned from business away and had a service light come on - and as usual Colchester Audi are proving utterly useless (it's ...

Carbon mirrors etc
Any recommendations for carbon or plain black mirror caps? Ideally a splitter too, to match whatever I decide on. Mine are currently looking distinctly second hand and the mirrors and the splitter need replacing due to a summer of festivals.
Cheers,

Re: Upgrading from B7 RS4 to the C7 RS6 Advice required
I had a B7 for 6 or so years and was a big fan of the DRC, so much so I spent 4k at Audi Ipswich for a full refresh just before I sold it last year! I can't comment on the air, but I'm now in a C7 with the DRC, and it has been lowered 25mm. In Dynamic, it is extremely firm, teeth rattlingly so and o...

Re: Long term running costs and thoughts
Just took delivery of Air Filter, Oil Filter, Pollen Filter and 8x Spark plugs, all from Audi Stafford with an invoice for the records. My local indy charges £99 for oil change, so I reckon all in it shouldn't cost more than £375, i'll change the air and pollen filter myself!
I wou...

Re: Long term running costs and thoughts
350miles out of a tank?! Wow. I've had mine a little over a year already and I prob average 200-220 on BP Ultimate. Recent major service at MRC, plugs, filters, diff oils etc etc was c.900 plus I supplied oil and plugs @ around 300 ish. I expect to have to replace discs and pads all round sooner rat...

Did you find a decent rear one? Mine need replacing before it's next detail.

Re: Retrofit Tow Bar
The DRC cars cannot take a factory-fit folding tow bar as the suspension accumulators are located in the centre of the car at the back where the tow bar would fold into. You might be able to get a non folding removable tow bar fitted? That was my hope, but I'm struggling to pin down anyone to do it...

Retrofit Tow Bar
Anyone had any luck? I've approached two local (Essex) tow bar specialists, one hasn't come back to me despite chasing, the other told me it wasn't homologated to tow, which I believe is rubbish. Car is fitted with DRC. It's to tow the track car or bikes, not just to stick a bike rack on, for ref. Ash

Re: Splitters
I have the ProTune one and it looks good but as a regular festival goer it's a sodding nuisance. Considered replacing after I clipped it at Gatwick but now will just remove if it gets pinged again.

Re: Oil Service - how much?
Why use and Audi Dealer? Surely your warranty is void if your running Stage 2? Not be better off using a well recommended specialist? Entirely for re-sale. I don't rate Audi dealers at all from previous experience having had a B7 RS4 for the last 6 or so years. Much better service with my local ind...

Oil Service - how much?
So, my car's on around 31k. Just been quoted by Ipswich Audi: £745.97 for oil & inspection service including pollen, air filer - I will be supplying the oil and plugs as it's running a Stage 2 map. Now, if that's the rate, then fine - but this strikes me as a bit daft for me supplying the oil and pl...

Re: “Inspection service” at 3 yrs
Had one myself a few months ago, from what I gather it's basically just a visual check. Annoying to say the least.
