Re: DRC Steel line repair
Scrappyloz, you mention there is worn a hole in the no. 11 pipe. If the rest of the pipe is ok, and the pipe where the hole is, are accessible a solution is to cut the pipe there and insert a 1/4" union fitting with compression rings. Alternatively a flare union, but that need more space to be able ...

Re: DRC Steel line repair
The leak is somewhere at the coupling between the pipe from the accumulator and the pipe to the front left damper (10 in the drawing). It is hard to see where the leak is. The pipe (10) is oily where it enter the coupling so it could be the pipe itself or the fittings. Hard to get access. Have to re...

Re: DRC Steel line repair
A couple of days ago I noticed a few drops of oil on the garage floor. It seems to drip from the spare wheel well. I noticed som pipes up there but was not able to locate the source. Thanks for the drawing, that will help me identify the diferent parts and hopefully the leak. I've just been waiting ...

Re: Can’t source a radiator!
Thanks Shoppinit for the drawings. Unfortunately it doesn't seem straightforward to convert to the pre 2003 plumbing. On the post 2003 drawing it's not shown the flow direction trought the turbos. I assume it is because the flow direction is both ways. From the radiator trough valve 11 and the pump ...

Re: Can’t source a radiator!
Hi guys, unfortunately I'm now also in the situation I have to source a new radiator for my car. I've checked with Serck and they still can deliver but the asked price is now £1,794 which is a bit up from the £900 mentioned previously in this post. :-( I'm therefore considering other options, which ...

Re: RS6 and RS6 Plus Factory Ride Heights with DRC
My plus on DRC has the following measures.
Front Left = 618mm
Front Right = 618mm
Rear Left = 612mm
Rear Right = 614mm
I don't know about the springs, but I assume they are stock.

Re: To track or not to track
The '6 is a great car, but imo it has noting on a racetrack to do, as it is way too heavy.
As adviced i a previous post, buy an Elise/Exige and have real fun not worrying of shredded tires and boiling/fading brakes.

Re: Do i or dont i
The plot thickens..i have tpms valves sensors and antennae but a loom where the control unit should be. I have asked for a quote on a new control unit. Sod it, lost the will, too many people are coding the tpms out for me to insist on spending the best part of another 1k getting it to work, much ra...
