It was some time ago but I believe it was adamsrotors.com in the US
I can't comment on the performance/quality as I didn't purchase a pair in the end.

Re: 2014 S6 Avant Front Discs
Assuming we are talking C6 S6 the only options I could turn up were effectively re engineered OEM discs; I fitted some brake ducts in an effort to improve longevity and performance.

Re: Oil leaking... from somewhere
If i had to guess my money would be on the oil separator return leading from the cyclonic oil separator behind the engine.
Bad news is thats a manifold off job due to access. See page 14 http://www.vaglinks.com/vaglinks_com/do ... Engine.pdf

Any thoughts on this S6?
So having owned my C6 S6 for 4 years now I've recently had a nose around to see what else is out there in the £25k bracket and much to my surprise this popped up - http://www.lookers.co.uk/used-cars/5402499-audi-a6-s6-tfsi-quattro-4dr-s-tronic/?distance The obvious choice and a car I've almost purch...

Brake ducts
Further to Ross's post here http://forum.rs246.com/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=114989 I had the brake ducts fitted today and apparently it was extremely easy and all that was required was to elongate the bottom hole to allow the bolt to line up correctly. Hopefully they will help with disc life as I'm on m...

Re: Potential Purchase
They tend to be pretty bullet proof and after 4 years of ownership mine hasn't cost me anything more than general maintenance although she gets through front discs pretty quick; but they can be sourced for £150 - £200 a pair. There are lots of scare story's regarding carbon build up in the FSI howev...

Re: RS6 Grill on my S6
Hi T, Slight bodge I'm afraid with good old cable ties. I drilled a small 3 or 4mm hole through the S6 badge where it previously clipped into the original grill and cable tied it back so that it can be returned to OE easily. Again the number plate holder was cable tied back and the plate bonded on w...

Looking at the grill I would say standard.
Adaptive looks like this with a square under the number plate mount.

Re: Disc skimming
Crikey; I wouldn't have thought it would vary so much.
I used Westerleigh Car Centre in Bristol; they did try to talk me into buying new discs and pads which was annoying as i explained my findings and that a skim would be within tolerances.

Re: Disc skimming
I used a garage in Bristol but being a franchise I assumed the cost would be pretty standard. It's only 9 minutes per disc after all.
