every b5 owner should have vagcom to check codes on a regular basiss. Intermittant is more than likely egt, lambda or n75 but those failures can be caused by maf reading wrong, leaks or bad fuel? Yeah, I only bought the car just before Christmas, and had been meaning to get one, but as usual didnt ...

probably an egt sensor intermittant - you need to check codes first. Yeah ordered a VAG-COM lead yesterday will be a few days before I have it, was just wondering what the possibilities might be!! Have read about faulty DV's in quite a few different places so hopefully is something minor like that.

Hi guys, My B5 seems to have developed a problem, it is intermittently loosing boost, usually when I am over-taking! The car then goes into limp mode. When I get home and turn the car off, leave it for a few minutes, and then go back to it and start it, its fine!! (until it happens next time) Its ha...

I know several people that run big spacers but IMO I would prefer to run no bigger than a 15mm spacer..........
Any particular reason why you wouldnt run any bigger than 15mm???

Yeah, I figured the offset was waaaaaaaaaay wrong but a set of 30mm spacers would bring it back +20 yeah????

Hi guys, I've just joined this forum as I recently bought myself a B5 rs4!! :jump: Basically I'd like to change the wheels on it, and I've come across a set of BBS locally which are in perfect nick!! They are 19 x 8.5 with an offset of +50 Now i know the standard wheels are 18 x 8.5 with a +20 offse...
