Re: What's left of the old girl has gone up for sale

Other than putting this up on here, still haven't advertised her. I've had the usual, people making all the right noises, long convos about everything, but nobody on the driveway looking at her yet.

Hi there. I assume that the full respray question is based on personal preference since you are rejuvenating the car?

Aside from the previously-resprayed left front wing she is pretty good overall still, to my eye at least for her age.

Anyone on here running Vossen Wheels (HF-2, HF-5, HF-7 ideally)?

Hi there. This place is pretty dead compared to the C5 area of the forum, but hoping for a bit more than tumbleweed with this one (we'll soon see). I am planning for summer wheels for my 23' Vorsprung, leaving the OE wheels as the winter set with Conti WinterContact TS860 S tyres. I have done Youtub...

Re: Am I missing Tools & Accessories from the car?

Right, answered myself. The wrench is in the post, only one wheel key comes with the car, spares are £66 a pop The Retractable storage bar (top item) is a hilarious £387 and the strap bar (bottom left) is an even more comical £400. Gutted that they changed the rails between the C7 and 8, as I have a...

Re: Selling my modified 2003 C5 RS6 - Project car for someone, hopefully

The Breaker stated that he has one single price that he buys them in for, £4k. He estimated that he parted each one out on average at £8-8.5k , so doubling his money on standard ones after pulling apart and waiting however long for everything to sell. He wouldn't change his buy price despite a numbe...

Am I missing Tools & Accessories from the car?

Hi guys My 23 (7 months old) Vorsprung arrived yesterday. I was just checking through things to see if I had the net hooks and noticed that I appear to have spaces for the solid, telescopic luggage bar (upper centre of pic), the adjustable luggage strap (bottom left of pic) and the wheel wrench (low...

Lol, I would gladly throw some of them in! :D I have nowhere for most of them to go and am not really a Gardenist.

Re: Selling my modified 2003 C5 RS6 - Project car for someone, hopefully

Thanks, I am hoping that it doesn't come to that. I did have a conversation with one, a "specialist" who supposedly has broken 32 of them previously. He didn't care about all the custom parts and the higher prices they actively command on eBay etc, the mint condition "worth its weight in gold almost...

Re: What's left of the old girl has gone up for sale

CheeRS Ric. It's hard to forget you lovable, like-minded old farts, that and the C8 forum is pretty damn dead! The C8 is nice and all that, but she doesn't have any of the soul/feel that the C5 has, she is still my favourite RS6 by a country mile. Let's put it this way, the C8 turned up yesterday, a...

What's left of the old girl has gone up for sale

Hi guys, sorry for spamming, but there you go!

I have stuck a waffly ad up in the for sale section, hoping that someone will want to bring the old girl back to her former glory - viewtopic.php?f=63&t=144207

CheeRS,

Nick.

Selling my modified 2003 C5 RS6 - Project car for someone, hopefully

Hi guys Sadly, the time has come for me to sell my modified C5 RS6. TL;DR, she is a project car, she is not in drive-away condition! She is fairly well known on here, I have owned her since late 2011 and she is the only car that we have held on to for over a decade! I am located in Mytchett, Surrey....

PS try not to kill yourself with the day job!
Thanks Ric, they tried that once already, didn't quite take luckily and no plans for letting them do it again ;)
