I also fitted Michelin Pilot Sport 3 in 225/45ZR17 94Y from the recommendations on here.
Next job is full brake system refresh, so heading down the factory big brake route!

Re: How many left.....
It would have been an RS2. The one I bought. The only RS4 they ever had was a red one.AdamM wrote:I just found out, it was a RS4 not an RS2 GMUND/SwissVax were showing, i could have sworn it was an RS2, probably because it was a Noggy blue car.

Re: My Trip To MRC
Always good to hear there are no big bills looming :D Didn't ask for a cheeky remap while you were there?? ;) Haha, I did have a chat with Chris about the maps and I'm sure the up-rate path is a very slippery slope. He said with it being such a nice car he didn't think I should mess around with it ...

My Trip To MRC
I got to Banbury for 8.30 this morning and they started straight into the car. It's a busy place at MRC so if you ever ring them don't be surprised if they don't answer the phone they're busy working on the cars. I guess they get a lot of people calling just to chew the fat. I'm thinking email is th...

Re: New Owner
I hope that Gmund are paying for that service! Unfortunately not, it has done around 1600 miles since its last service, but it's due time wise and I don't want to upset it's service history. It has been serviced at around 6k miles every 12 months for all its life. It also hasn't really been used re...

Re: Parts Manual?
That's great, thanks. I did come across this page earlier, but not the catalogue page.
Do most people get parts direct from Audi? I've read references to VAG Parts, but they don't seem to be around anymore?

Re: Parts Manual?
That's a shame, it's nice to have a printed copy.
I've done a bit of a search and it looks like the Russian link has been pulled. Any where else, anyone have a link? I'm mac based so online is better.

Parts Manual?
Hi All, I've got a parts manual for my other cars and they're invaluable. I wondered if there's one for the RS2 (or is it an 80 with add ons?). I've had a search on here and the S2Forum but there doesn't seem to be one anywhere. Can it be bought from Audi or does anyone have a PDF or anything like t...

Re: New Owner
Yes it definitely has a set of aftermarket springs fitted, which are green in colour (standard are black as far as I can tell). I was going to ask what make they're likely to be if they're green? Maybe Kawasaki, lol. The springs look like they've been with the car a long time. The lady who bought it...

Re: Tyres
One thing the suspension doesn't account for, though, is the dramatically road noise at motorway cruising speeds - I can't imagine the previous 245s accounted for such a difference, though others with a direct comparison may be able to comment. I've not tried them in the snow yet, but the PS2s were...

Re: Tyres
Michelin PS3 225/45ZR94Y Costco currently have their 20% discount offer. I have a set of these on and they are the best tyre i have tried on the RS2. GTRS is also running these tyres but in 91Y rating and he too is impressed. Haha, never thought of Costco for tyres! How does it work, do you buy the...

Re: Tyres
I noticed on another post a lot of people rate the Goodyear Eagle F1's, but not for the snow!? Also, is there a problem in getting the Pirelli's I think I read somewhere on here that they've been discontinued?darkhorse1210 wrote:Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetrics for me...same size as Al recommended

Tyres
Hi Everyone, I'm going to have a new set of tyres fitted and so I've been reading through the searches on what tyres you're all using. What's considered to be the best? There seems to be quite a lot of choice. Also, the spare has never been out of the wheel well and so is still the brand new Dunlop ...

Re: New Owner
Welcome to the forum...nice one that...i suspect the price was favourable too  I must have haggled it down pretty well as they wouldn't even put any tax on it for me. When I collected it, Stuart from Gmund said that he'd wanted to buy it himself and that if I every sold it in the future that ...
