Re: Ds2500 pads info
I just fitted the DS2500 with the larger JH discs, and they would not fit! The wheels would not turn. I am currently running them without the backing plates.. and after they wear down a little will re-install the OWM backing plates. If you don't use them, the pads will "walk" (move up and down and t...

Hello Kitty... new vinyl for the RS4
How do you like my new detailing? hellokitty.jpg OK... truth be told... I did this to a buddies car...it all started with a "hello kitty" sticker on the back of his car, and his daughter loved it and wouldn't let him remove it... and it stayed there for months. This time... I took it up a notch... I...

Re: Black Headlights
I have a blacked out car... and went Laminex on the fogs... it looked great... but light output was impacted so much.... I discarded the Laminex in under 15 minutes... Love the black... but love seeing at night even more... EMTuning is the way to go IMO!!

Re: Rusting door blades: Me vs Audi
It is not the rubber "trim" it is literally part of the bottom of the door... there is a screw on the inside of the door, and it slides off, towards the back of the door. If you didn't know any better you'd think it was the door, and not a separate metal piece. Yes its 10 years old, but I have 2 pre...

Rusting door blades: Me vs Audi
Has anyone tried pressing the defect in the way the bottom of our doors are constructed? Technically these are referred to as “door blades”… from my point of view a continuation of the outer door skin…. And from Audi’s point of view, they describe the piece as “trim” and not part of the actual door....

Re: Clutch and flywheel
Can someone elaborate on the "pipe" and "hose" that is also recommended to be replaced with the clutch and flywheel please? ie Part numbers and if the "upgraded" hose is needed.
Thanks
Thanks

Need some help... The following VAG code came up... I purchased the part... and using my Bentley CD... can't for the life of me find where this is... Re: Best of both worlds tyre?
Don't know if you can get these on your side of the Atlantic.... Bridgestone RE11: They are the perfect compromise for track and summer daily driver IMO... The have OEM size 255/35/19... but I am running 275.30/19 that are perfect... be warned... they require a VERY VERY knowledgeable tire guy to in...

Re: Airbag light drivers seat
I have the same problem... and the light goes on and off on its own... sometimes i can get it to go off by brake or accelerating hard.... I have done a little bit of research, and it appears there is a connection under the seat that becomes loose and /or corroded... but I have not spend time trying ...

Re: Stage 2 Temptation
Has anyone had the Stage 2 done "remotely"? I know MRC requires the CPU to do an initial install of the software... then when I carry out the manifold swap, they can install the Stage 2 map and dyno remotely... at least that is in theory.... as I have yet to hear someone doing it this way... Thanks ...
