A couple of years back, I was returning home from the cottage in North Norfolk, heading towards the M11, on an ordinary 2-lane A road. A camera van, hidden behind a fallen tree, suddenly made its presence heard on my garage door opener. Since I was in the middle of executing an overtake (traveling a...

are you sure, the service does book does nto say that.... Well, unless it has changed again. Audi revised all the cambelt intervals sometime in early 2006 (after your service book was printed). The RS interval is different to anything else and, unfortunately, many dealers do not seem to be aware! C...

RE: Re: RE: Ten months after parting from my RS6!

Paradise indeed. In my wildest dreams I never expected to own a palm-lined white sand beach! Are you suggesting that the Pajero is not capable of negotiating mud? Before I arrived here I was intending to purchase the Land Cruiser. However, I found that the spec of the cars being sold here was so far...

Nope, no joke - it's all completely true! Aren't I glad that I've made this 'sacrifice'?

Oh, and the house we're building ... bigger than the house I sold in Reading for more than £500k .. is budgeted at around £60k.

RE: Ten months after parting from my RS6!

I keep meaning to put photos up on my website - I'll try to get that done and then post links. Photos of our private beach, our 11 hectare farm, the house we're building, our two attractive 18y/o filipina maids etc.

RE: Ten months after parting from my RS6!

Hi Volts, I've come here to be with my wonderful filipina wife! We're living in Tagum. I did look at the possibility of shipping my cars here - until I found that RHD cars are not allowed into the country! :( Anyway, they would have problems on anything but the main highways ... the Pajero frequentl...

If you search the SLIM Devices forums, you will find that there is a utility which will automatically maintain an MP3 copy of your FLAC music library. I have to say that I never had a concern about audio quality in the car, using 128kbps MP3 on the PhatBox. I really couldn't tell the difference from...

Ten months after parting from my RS6!

It's a little over ten months since the day that I bid farewell to my Daytona RS6 Avant. She went to Fontain in search of a new owner. The last I saw of her was when Barry drove away after dropping Ruby and me at a hotel close to Heathrow airport. The following day we caught a flight to the Philippi...

However, I'm not sure how to do this!

but comes off it's mount when giving it some beans.. I must try harder, have never had that one. My first full-power take off after fitting my RoadPilot Pro resulted in the front panel and electronics board landing up in the rear footwell, whilst the back panel was left attached to the mount...
