Re: RS owner to be
Mine old one is for sale at SCC Leeds. I was 5th owner on mine when buying at 24k, kept it to 72k. FASH, all the major work done. Oil cooler, drc, inlet manifold, decoked. Would benefit a couple of refurbs, a small scrape on the back which was very minor and a cheap fix and the door was a little squ...

Selling - RS4 B7 Silver, 71k, FASH - £17999 Mucho spent
At a cross roads of selling my RS4 or trading it in. Either way it has to go as an upcoming move means I'll need a diesel which is a heart breaker. This car has been my pride and joy and has been maintained regardless of cost. I paid to keep it in Audi warranty up until Nov 2016 and everything it ha...

Re: EPC Light
Mine has thrown an EPC light, had the Audi assist out to it and diagnosed sticking Intake flaps. I'd had this several times before and it had always been duff coil packs. He suggested it will likely need an intake Manifold replacement which hopefully I can get done under warranty. Power and drive se...

Driving with sticky intake manifold flaps
Hi all Just had the Audi assist people out after the EPC light came on. Hoped it would be a cool as that's what it's been every other time but they have diagnosed sticking intake manifold flaps which can't be fixed by the road. Seems to drive as normal, not lumpy or misfiring but I didn't want to ta...

Re: rs4 service
The Audi Basingstoke in Chineham has only been there maybe 5-6 years I think and it's always been good for me, but I guess people don't tend to tell about the good experiences and you only get to know about the bad. Maybe that's a sticky thread in itself? One that actually promotes good indie or mai...

Re: rs4 service
Just had a service at Audi Basingstoke, 10 litres of oil at £6 a litre! Shell helix ultra. I think if you have a decent stealer or a good rep with the stealer then they may be less likely to have your pants down. I put in a glowing letter to Basingstoke Audi and Audi HQ about the service I had after...

Re: Tyre pressure sensors and service costs
Mine went in to basingstoke recently for an oil leak which was covered under warranty but my contact told me their labour is £130 an hour so they can do better.

Re: Oil Cooler lifetime/lifespan
Definately looks like engine oil but I can't see any obvious signs of where it's coming from I had the steering pump and all associated bits replaced under warranty even more recently that the oil cooler and pipes so really shouldn't be that either. hopefully warranty will pick up the tab cos if it'...

Oil Cooler lifetime/lifespan
So the motor is sicking out spots of oil on my drive, not masses but enough to suggest there is an issue. Can see its dripping through the centre of the undertray The cars under extended warranty and FASH so will be going in to Audi. Does anyone happen to know the audi warranty on Oil coolers and pi...

Cheapest EVER trip to audi
So so, had a tyre valve snap earlier in the week when trying to re-inflate some lost pressure. As usual you get the slight sweats about a trip to the dealer. Didn't think it would be a big deal but you never know Anyway, the damage ................£49 and got a free car wash. Expensive you may say f...

Audi main dealer wanted £1700 when mine went, luckily warranty picked up the bill.
