RE: Quattro vibration

Much appreciated, must do !)

Tyres checked, changed, rechecked, no improvement.
alignment checked & rechecked, fine.
Balance also repeatedly checked, in different garages.

How does Driveshaft imbalance or diff damage present?

Thanks Guys, I'm in Ireland, plenty of expertise available locally, but the S4 is a rare item here, so all suggestions appreciated. I'm getting codes read tomorrow, & will check rings at the same time.

With thanks

At what stage of tune or use is an oil cooler recommended or beneficial?, how accurate is the oil temp gauge?
I'm asking from the perspective of someone who never tracks the car, is interested in sustained motorway speeds and engine longevity.

RE: notchy short shift

Check out "toy guy" on Audiworld for his modified shifter, not at all notchy, blocked shifts in first and second are sorted, great job and not too pricey, money well spent.

One for sale in Athlone at the moment, see Autotrader, alternatively talk to VST if you're keen to bring in from UK and want to know more.

H & R coilovers, place it exactly in a corner as you want it, inner, outer , most amazing ability to maintain momentum through the corners, Mine not too low (thanks VST), it's firm, but no...

New Bpv'S (hyperboost) and F hose fitted at same time as K04's, no sign of split or bulge, it is most unlikley that any oil from old turbo's would have been left in pipes. The upper end throttle response may not be perfectly linear, I was putting it down to the combination of the K04's with standard...
