Re: Relegated !
It is, though it's been a pain in the ass since I bought it last year. It's very difficult to restart after switching from my Lance to Sno Gun, even when the engine is up to temp. Need to faff about with the choke which I shouldn't have to touch. It should fire up straight off, then I have to mess a...

Re: Which Dash Cam ?
I've also been thinking about this, for pretty much the same reasons as Stu. The rear view mirror has power, I'm assuming it's not possible to connect to this and avoid having to route cables? Funnily enough, I came across this. I've to send the guy pics of the mirror mount left and right. Seems th...

Re: Front Caliper Mounting Bolt - Part number?
There you go lugars, as I had suspected, it's a fairly beefy bolt... any idea of length? Hi Stuart It is correct that Audi do not list or supply this bolt, although Porsche list them for their cars. They are all M12x1.5 but have different lengths. If you know the length required, I could give you a ...

Re: Front Caliper Mounting Bolt - Part number?
They'll be quite heavy, man. M12/M14. I've emailed A for Audi and asked a question. I will send this one too.
Just what I said. No15 on that first slide looks puny compared to this shot..

Re: Front Caliper Mounting Bolt - Part number?
Crazy they said it wasn't listed. The bolt looks to go thru the body of the Caliper and into the carrier ? I'd guess it's an m10 x 1.25 or 1.5 or an M12 x 1.5. I've a pair of B8 Calipers sitting on my bench, which isn't much help. I'll actually nip out for a look.. Sent from my SM-S918B using Tapata...

The fag lighter power plug is horrible, so did you take a feed out the back of the wiring to it or did you run the line rear to front

Re: Front Caliper Mounting Bolt - Part number?
Does the schematic give you thread pitch and shank length of bolt ?
I'd just order a like for like from pro-bolt, Westfield Fasteners or the likes..

Re: Which Dash Cam ?
Yea, that helps. I started to wonder about power and run a lead along the footwell area and up into the door frame. Is it a piggyback fuse connector? Why is it not on all the time? Do you mean when the car is switched off.

Re: Latest round of bills
It's excellent, a bit bigger than I had thought, so just used both outside compartments and collapsed the middle section, I'll post up some pics. It's very well made.

Which Dash Cam ?
Must be an age thing, I'm thinking more often about getting a dash cam the last wee while, not only because of the <beep> roads and a potential claim but more for idiot drivers and to help keep me in the clear in the event of a smash. Anyone got one fitted, don't mind spending a bit, and can fit mys...

Re: losse / wobbily front seat
I reckon you might need to pull the chair out and upend it Andy, probably the only way you'll figure out what the problem is, I'd hazard a guess at loose fixings, probably an easy sort.
