Can anyone advise me of the length (incl wheelbase), width and height of a VW classic Beetle??? I've looked everywhere on the web for the spec and cannot find anything!!!!!!

Hi im after a 1999 or 2000 model Audi S3. completely standard and pref under 50k pref dark blue or black but dark green considered. pref silver leather but black considered...not half leather though! pref bose sound system i have seen a blue 2000 car with leather and bose and 36K for about 12grand ...

Walton Audi just charged me £278 incl VAT...for the first service incl the HALDEX oil change...which I thought was reasonable... being an ex-Impreza owner (service every 6000miles!)

Took my S3 into Walton Audi for it's first service last Thursday and got chatting to a couple of the sales guys there...they'd already taken a deposit of someone for an RS3 recently. I bought a copy of AutoCar on the way home after collecting my recently serviced car...artitsts impression or not... ...

Only just saw this thread - but I got four Goodyear GSD3 F1's (205/45 R17) about a month ago from Micheldever nr Winchester in Hampshire (www.micheldever.co.uk). I paid £ 420 incl fitting, 4 wheel alingment & VAT.
The tyres are very good in the dry and the wet.

My money is on the WRX (if it's the old Jap import classic model)...Having owned one - the power is in a different league compared to a un-modded S3.

I don't think it was that one Phil... the front end was standard on the one I saw.

Also don't bother cleaning the car as it will get absolutely covered in red dust getting into the car parks John - if only I'd read your message earlier!!!... I spent 3 hours cleaning my S3 on Saturday (tried Maguiars for the first time). It's no longer gleaming ming-blue... more of a Dakar-brown !!

Well, the budget was blown! Ended up going for a 2003 (registered in Jan) S3 for 23k !!! Spec as follows: Ming blue, silver leather, sun-roof, Bose, aluminium mirrors and parking sensors. Low mileage (4208 miles when I collected it). I've only had it a week now... but I love it !!! Totally different...
