Re: Wheel Offsets question
Thanks Mike, sorry been away and just checked this thread. That all makes sense. I'm looking at 10.5s with an offset of 38mm all round, based on another post I saw (below) where a wheel shop over in the US ran 10s with an ET33 fine, would that equate to 10.5 with an ET38 also being fine then? Ie 0.5...

Wheel Offsets question
Hey all, Been a while since posting since selling up. Very tempted to get back into another RS model shortly and liking how the prices of the 6's are finally coming down. In the meantime I'm hoping for a bit of advice / clarity on wheel offsets as I'm about to put a new set on the Range Rover Sport....

Re: RS4 'replica'... Hahaharrgh!!
Is it just me or can anyone else see the B7 rear lights on the tailgate of that 'B6' mule? Looks like they are just taped over. And if you look at the headlights they look taped over aswell. I think its a proper B7 just disguised as a B6. And actually, on the front bumper the number plate plinth is...

Re: RS4 'replica'... Hahaharrgh!!
Docurley - That mule car reminds me of those 997 facelift kits for the 996. They look spot on in your rear view mirror, but when they pass by and you see the rear end of a 2000 plate 996 you think 'hang on a minute...'! To clarify on Harris' initial comment, I think he just got the wrong end of the ...

RS4 'replica'... Hahaharrgh!!
Gave me a right chuckle at the lights yesterday. Pulled up to see a B7 A4 with poorly spaced RS4-style wheels, all badged up front and back with RS4 badges  , and some rather suspect-looking twin pipes that were kind of angled down but not so much it was a diesel, a very weird looking beast...

Re: FOR SALE Black RS4 B7 Saloon w/Black Optics - owned 4 ye
Thanks GazS14. Discs/pads were done just before I bought it. Haven't really been too hard on the brakes during my ownership (i think the pads have around 40-50% left still and no advisories mentioned re the discs/pads during recent MOT) but you're of course free to check if you do wish to view it. FOR SALE Black RS4 B7 Saloon w/Black Optics + Range Rover Sp
Stupid Pistonheads :bash: phonesafe number seemingly hasn't been linked to my phone number since the ad went live. Had someone email saying they're interested but the phone number didn't work, so I called it myself and sure enough it rings - just not to my phone! Anyway, I've updated it now on both ...

SOLD - Black RS4 B7 Saloon w/Black Optics - owned 4 years
Hi guys, Time has come for me to put the RS4 up for sale, sad to see it go having owned it for quite some time now, but it's just not getting used enough to warrant keeping it. Has just had a brand new oil cooler and pipes fitted, the DRC's been done at Camberley Audi and has recently had 4 new tyre...

Re: Oil Leak - Some Help Please
The issue is that the pipe would have by now corroded onto the cooler. As the pipes are steel and the cooler aluminium, galvonic corrosion causes the less noble metal (in this case the aluminium) breaks down and turns into gunk. If this happens too much then the threads on the cooler won't take a n...

that 0-125 vid was insane. Think it sailed past 60 in about 2.5/3 secs.

Re: Oil Leak - Some Help Please
Thanks for the replies guys, not what I was hoping to hear but at least I now know what it is... So, and sorry if this is a silly question, if it's just that end bit of pipe that's split and causing the oil to leak can I not just have that section of silicon piping removed and replaced (as per ginor...
