Changes to S3 since introduction?

I am considering buying an S3, probably an '08 car to get some of the initial depreciation out of the way. I thought I read somewhere there had been an upgrade to the haldex system at some point? Does anyone know what month/year this came in and any other upgrades since introduction.....or is it rea...

I would reccomend instruction at donny,,I first went there 10 years ago in a previous 911.....the instructor soon pushed me to take craner curves flat in 4th, which was a revelation...I could have been there all day on my own before I would have the confidence to work up to doing that! :)

Nice vids,,,..I agree on the tyres,, the car has the power, but I would say that the brakes let you down...you were braking way too early...obviously this is again tied in with the tyres.... I would expect you will have more fun at Donnington though, one of the best tracks in the Uk :) Despite many ...

RE: Vmaxd S4

Excellent result Doug, a great advertisement for your company and tuning efforts.....I am genuinely suprised at the speed as I never knew the B5's aerodynamcs were so good......that is quicker than a 997TT, but the specialist Ruf and looney 9FF we had at the last one are obvioulsy a league above, st...

I noticed the bonnet didn't seem to fit particullry well, but thought it may be the photograph?
Looking at the drivers seat, there seem to be quite a few creases, maybe the owner sat in it wthout actually going anywhere :)

Is this the best example???

I noticed a fantastic 10k mile Nogaro rhd RS2 on pistionheads classifieds

I have no connection with the seller, but thought it worth mentioning such a rare car.

I haven't posted the link in case it gets moved to the for sale section.

There can't be too many out there like this one???

Potential S3 purchase

I have owned a B5 S4 for the last 3 years....I am considering a change and a hatchback may be useful. Has anyone gone from B5 S4 to S3...any thoughts? Ideally i would like a 2001 facelift in Nogaro with under 50k miles...there are a few around, but some of the prices seem a little optimistic. Despit...

If you can afford an RS4, then that has to be the way to go,,,,surely a better platform should you intend to tune further, also probably more liklihood on getting a higher proprtion of your outlay back when you sell. Wombar, you're still around!....any joy on the car front or still waiting for the n...

RE: Wheel refurb in Surrey?

Woody, appreciate it, but these are wheels on a 1990 car and a keeper, so probably best to dip and start from scratch really...cheers :)
