I had planned on working the maps into a 1.8t file thinking they would be similar to the S4 files(which are very similar to 1.8t).After the first look.Yeikes :P

Lol, do you know how to calculate/correct multipoint, CRC and 8-bit additive checksums??? IMHO, don't even try, if you have never done an ME7.x ECU before, try something else before blowing that nice ASJ/AZR motor up... Do you have the slightest idea on how the ECU works on your car? And I mean you...

Nice to meet you as well.

There is a program out that does all the checksum calcs for the ME7.

I use a graphical program for altering the maps.They are alot easier to find and use than people think.

What I wanted to try is to use the S4 maps to create a patch for the 1.8t VW ME7 cars.
