Cheers, I think you are right it is the flywheel clattering. I don't make a habit of pulling off in second, I just noticed when turning a corner at slow speed to get into my steep driveway. I wonder if the clutch alignment is slightly out..1st to 2nd can feel a bit lumpy sometimes if you aren't goin...

Slight rattle / judder under low engine load

Hi all, I have a slight rattle when pulling away under slight engine loading at about 1.5 k revs. It is most noticeable if pulling away in second or very slowly in first if up a hill etc. It sounds very much like an exhaust baffle rattle but isn't and it will only occur under motion and engine load....

Yeah this is what I was wondering... My history of M and Hartge cars always had wider rubber at the back, however were RWD yet I notice this also is the case on 9114Ss and turbos.. Problem is I have no Idea and can't find what the original set-up on the ABT was, brakes, suspension, roll bars, wheels...

Hi there, Just about to pick up my ABT B6 next week and was wondering about tyres... When I pick it up it will be on the standard Avus 235 40 18 winter rubber but it has a second set of wheels for summer boots. Two have new Michelin on (i'd presume ps2s didn't pay much attention to that or indeed si...

Hi new owner here,

Very excided to pick her up next week :)

After using s4s and 5s in the past loving them and using the forum to make me think twice about the RS6 I was going for vs. the 4 I thought it was time to register and say hi ;)
